What’s up, guys.

So, we finally reached the mid season finale of My Little Pony last season. And so far, the episodes (most of them) are really great. And also I add the special episode of Rainbow Road Trip; I didn’t expect that the producers took the same animation that they used in the My Little Pony Movie. Some of the fans hate it, but in my case, and see it for the second time, I kind of like it.

But, I don’t want to make a review about the season 9 of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and stuff. I want to talk about other things that I wanted to say, but I was too busy to write this post. So here we go:

First and foremost, Quickstrike: Soulmates Matched.

I know you guys are waiting to see and read the last pages of the Quickstrike girls. And sorry to make you waiting for so long. So, to make you guys happy, I want to announce that next week I will publish the last pages of Quickstrike: Soulmates Matched! This webcomic was really fun to draw and really like Scott’s female characters (Lin is one of my favorites). And making it was a real adventure.

So, long story short, Quickstrike: Soulmates Matched will be back next week! Thank you everyone for reading the comic, and don’t forget to support Scott on Patreon, too.

My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Mid Season 9 finale

Now, about MLP:FiM series, I want to talk about something that really made me think about for a while when the season 9 started.

When this show is finally over, what am I gonna do after that? During the time of making fanarts, I realized that most of the fanarts I draw are related with My Little Pony Equestria Girls, also a show that (probably) will end, too. I still have some ideas to make fanarts of MLP, but, after the show ends, the fandom will probably died out.

Maybe I should start making some fanarts of other cartoons and animes. I have made a list of characters that I’m so eager to draw for a long time, like that Minamoto no Raikoo girl that I’m working on, besides my latest MLPEG fanart that also I’m working on, she’s one on my list and I always wanted to draw that girl.

There are art challenges and memes that I’m always interested to try out, besides of Inktober (which I probably will participate this year again). But, I think I’ll put them in my “Pending-list” for now.

So yeah, probably in the future MLP will not be my main fanart when this show is over.

Now, I want to know what is your opinion about this topic. Do I have to continue drawing MLP fanart? Or should I have to draw fanarts of other cartoons and anime series? Leave a comment below in this post.

And as always, let’s make something awesome!

Sounds like you've managed to accomplish a lot on ur list, glad you were able to have fun cause that's what everybody needs when working, enjoying it. As for suggestions what next and this is merely only a suggestion, I have a friend who told in my line of artwork; once a week, try something differently, like draw what's in the mood or topic in your head. It's actually quite exciting if u try it but that's up to u, hoping I can help u with thoughts and ideas.

Thanks, Alan. I'll think about your suggestion. There are so many possibilities and I have to choose one to start with.
