Phew...what for a week. Today (one day later as planned) the energy meter etc was done for my flat. After the experience from my neighbour I put everythings out of the sockets in the early morning and it was a good decission.

The coworkers are not incompetent, but the house where my flat is part of, are build back in 1957...and the cables are mostly originaly. As the coworkers did their job and activate the energy the brand new energy meter ... gave up and was destroyed (don't know the correct word in english). So they again startet to look what trouble this time broke the brand new energy meter. Over the whole day they needed to repeat this 4 times before they found one solution...and with this I am absolutly not happy. Right now the energy flopps out, everytime my computer is running and I start another device...like a mikrowave as example. Oh boy...but I am so happy that everything in my flat was not in the sockets over the whole day.

I did not sign their contract that the work are done, not until they fixed those trouble and I can not accept that only one device can stay active and when another one is activated everything went black. The coworkers are not happy so they need to find a solution.

Made in Germany was once an absolute guarantee for top work...something you can trust. Now I have the feeling that this time is completly over...but You can trust on my quality work :D

I will restart the work this evening with the commission work for Carlos Phoenix and the first pages for next Weeks Eve Comics. I also try to create the pages for DNA Re-Written and Bazira, but I can not guarantee that I completly upload every day 3 Pages of those comics, but I will give my best.

Thank you all for your patience

Jim

It's ok if you can't upload everything you usually do next week. I hope they fix what's wrong because that suck to only be able to use one device at a time. I hope you have a good weekend.

Sounds like power supply to the house is smaller than what you had before.

I am no Electrician, but that what the coworkers told me are the cables to old. The changes that was made transport to much energy, so every time when I turn something extra on an energy spike build up and the fuse jumps out. That means for me that they have to inspect all cables in my flat, remove them und insert modern cables. To be true: I for my part have no other choice to belive that what they told me and that they fix this mess asap. But as always I inform you when I got the news, because I calculate that they again need one or two days for that (hopefully)

Thanks Cole. I truly hope that too because it is no fun when this happen and everytime I need to restart the complete work. But I will make my best for the weekend.

It could be bad wires I was just hoping for the easier fix for you. 50s thu 80s in the U.S. they were using aluminum wires for power it was cheaper than copper but found out later didn't last long and higher chances for starting electrical fires

Ah, something new learned thanks. I have two-core copper cables in my flat. This is, as the coworker said...antique. Normaly should there be three-core copper cables...at least. That means that the whole cable tree never was changed, since '57. Now with the top modern equipment they reached their limits (as I understood). I think it is the same as with the internet: When you have an old 56baud Modem from the early 90's you can't surf in high speed DSL with 100MB or more :D Well, for the next days I have to life and work with this combination and I really hope that this will fixed soon.

Sorry to hear that you're still struggling. Sadly it seems like that the German and Hungarian workers work attitude is way to similar. They butchered our garage entry 2 years ago after a power cable change and they're still coming to fix it... Yeah right. So don't sign ANITHING until they fixed it.

Uh oh, I really hope that they will fix it this week and not this week in two years here :D But that is hard my friend, two years...aren't there any ways to...increase their motivation?

We went straight to the mayor with the issue. He... promised to take care of it...

That is good to hear and I wish that this problem will be solved very soon.
