Alex strikes a pose. Now you know it's serious

Sunphoenix72

He has a Fast Attack Battlecruiser with almost as much firepower as a damned Type-TT Superheavy under HIS command... in a target rich battlefield! No way he could resist the human thought ~ "Canna Get a HELL YEAH!" Of Course he's gonna posse ~ I would too!

Canopus

Alex follows Macbeth's philosophy, "I am in blood stepped in so far, that, should I wade no more, returning were as tedious as go o'er."

We have a plan! Final panel, the dash in acknowl-edged is a bit awkward 😅

Makes sense- dash straight at and through them, exchange one brief volley joust-style as you sail past them at high speed. Gives them only bad choices- Try to slow down and match your course now, meaning they are slower and easy to target when you joust past them. Or try and speed up, meaning they have more momentum to undo if they want to chase you. Versus, try to run away in a different direction knowing their acceleration performance will catch you, letting them take MANY volleys at you once they match speed. This being no choice at all, dash through is the best of limited options. Of course, the whole "An extremely strong gatecrasher force was just in Tisados and left who know how many remnants" isn't ideal, but I don't see a better option. If they could get to a non-raided friendly sector, that would be about as safe as anything gets in these parts.

Classical Salamander

It's really the only tactically sound choice at this point, once you're the target, you really *don't* want to give them any more time on target than you absolutely MUST. Besides, if they can get through Tisados they can jump to Nezel right in the middle of a huge battle... :o

One factor that might be crucial is the lack of FTL communications tech. Messages have to be carried by ships. Any forces currently in Tisados won't know the new arrival isn't one of their own.

And here Alex shows that he have the properties required of a leader. And the last picture of him slightly from below is a classical trick to make someone look more imposing.
