PATREON POLICY UPDATES , IOS fee (you can avoid it) (Patreon)

- IOS users/apple users with patreon *in app* will get hit by a 30% extra store fee

(implements starts november 1st 2024)

Apple is being greedy & starting November 2024 this extra fee will start applying to subscriptions bought via the app (mobile only!) 

- "Apple will be applying their 30% App Store fee to all new memberships purchased in the Patreon iOS app, in addition to anything bought in your Patreon shop."

Suggested solution : set up your pledge on PC or on a browser on your phone (e.g safari or chrome etc) I personally prefer the PC version for easy navigation

(I personally used the browser version for years before getting the app & it works great!)

Another thing that changed is the Subscribtion billing is now not an option. (This means you will be charged on the date you joined every month)

Being: Joining on/after the 22nd of the month will receive your art reward the following month- Though I might move this date! I'll see what works best with time.

There are enough fees already so I hope you can avoid this extra cost that will only go to yet another big greedy company. I appreciate the support here and on all my platforms immensely! it lets me work doing what I love <3 and I hate every hurdle that makes it more difficult to support artists in any way, it's already rough living in this economy
