Aya’s always been a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to underwater breath holding. Until Chihaya started showing progress in her own training Aya was often pretty show-off-ey and lackadaisical. Saki’s always been a consistent challenge for her, so now that you add three less talented girls into the mix she gets to act all wise and skilled again. Still, if I were either of the two drowners here I’d at least try to get out of the ship. Strange how they never attempted that.

If Saki doesn't give Toko a kiss of life, Toko and Mito would probably surfacing soon. As for Saori, she's very unbending, as evidenced by her insistence on asking Saki to join swimming club, that she didn't lose to her instinct of breathe even she black out.
