Based on the dialogue, it seems that this grand blessing hasn't been held in many decades, even when Misao was alive... So does Saki know the details of the blessing...... If she knows, who taught her?

“See” a grand blessing is an awkward term, if most of the ceremony will be held underwater. Then again, give Aya or Eri a camera and have them follow Saki down. I’m curious why there was no preparation that we got to see. Is Saki really just that confident in her skills? Then again, with my luck recently, the whole thing will be above water and we won’t see so much as a toe getting wet.

What we know from Misao’s ceremonies seems to be that traditionally the villagers would gather to see the Priestess off, watching as she disappeared under the water. I would imagine some of the younger ones might even have tried to follow her down. But eventually, they would all just wait on the beach until she came back up for a breath, seemingly unbothered by the fact that their holy woman hadn’t inhaled for a solid ten to twenty minutes.

Note that Saki herself had said only “Blessing,” and the villagers probably have never seen either a “Blessing” or a ”Grand Blessing.” And the council of elders will probably not be happy about Saki hosting an event without them…

The "villagers" is that means they are in Ogami island not at Miyako island? And they never seen a "Blessing" or a "Grand Blessing", Is this that such a special ritual? And even Misao didn't perform it. Could we likely to see it in the future?

Everyone is in Aya’s house’s front yard so that means…:-) Also, the rituals of real Ogami Island (done by the real shrine maidens) is closed to outsiders so no one knows what happens in it. :-)

Looks Saki has many believers ,on Miyako main island, I used to think that her believers were limited to the people of Ogami island, or at most some fishermen and sailors on Miyako island. Because https://miyako-jinja.com/ And, looks like most of her believers are older, it's time to attract some younger believers.
