STAR WARS has always had "cute" characters. From R2 and the Jawas in the original film, to the Ewoks, BB-8, and the all-time cute champ, Baby Yoda, STAR WARS has provided fans with plenty of adorable creatures and characters. RFR V.I.P. Marty from Georgia is a fan who enjoys STAR WARS infused with a little bit of cuteness, and that topic becomes a recurring theme throughout our conversation.. Marty is also a teacher and he talks about incorporating STAR WARS into his classroom lessons, co-ed wrestling, THE ACOLYTE, and we look ahead to season two of ANDOR.

Can’t wait to listen. I’m so far behind…

Marty of Georgia

I apologize in advance for the audio problems.

I just threw the cuteness in my queue! Gonna listen while I deliver all this hateful election mail!!

Tanya S

Woohoo! Marty from Georgia! 👏🏼

Cameron Gore

Easy. I would be Luke before swinging across the abyss so that I could get kissed by Carie Fisher.

Turtle Wars

Great episode Marty! Grievous has always been one of my favorite SW characters since his debut in that first 2D Clone Wars micro series. I would want to be stuntman Peter Diamond getting to act alongside (and on top of) Mardji in her Bantha costume on ANH. That was the only time a real elephant was used on set to create a Bantha. It would have been about the closest thing to getting to ride a wholly mammoth.

Greg from New Jersey

Great episode! Always glad to hear a fellow teacher (and a social studies one at that)!

Great Q&A so far! New to the Patreon here; not sure where to ask this. Does every VIP member get an opportunity for a Q&A?

Rebel Force Radio

Every VIP gets the opportunity to sign up for open dates, but it's first-come, first-serve. The sign-ups usually happen every 2-3 months and slots are limited, but typically, everyone who wants to do it gets the chance.

I have a lot of opinions on BoBF and how they treated his character, but as for Jimmy’s take on that they didn’t need a carbon copy with the Mandalorian already doing the same thing: I have to say that it would’ve been refreshing to see Boba Fett being a merciless ruler of the criminal underworld and go head to head with the Pyke syndicate without the burden of having a baby with you. We could’ve seen Boba Fett unleashed, but instead we got a toothless Boba Fett that wanted to rule with kindness and fight a syndicate that is thousands of soldiers deep with an army of 10…

Curtis in Omaha

I barely heard it myself. If anything, it sounded like I was listening to you on vinyl.

Pastor Yoda

Blue Beetle was fun!

RobO from ChicagO

Great episode! I’d like to be any of the puppeteers in Jabba when he’s getting choked by Slave Leia! 😬

A great listen, Marty! And yes, I totally know how to fix your holocron! The problem: this happens when the battery becomes totally discharged. It happened to me. The fix: there is a tiny slot on the same side of the cube where the charging port is. This is where you pull the plastic tab out that allows. The electrical connection when you first purchase your holocron. I used a sliver of card stock to put in the slot and that will reset it. Or a sliver of regular paper that might have to be folded in half. “The target area is only 2mm wide” Good luck, let me know if it works for you

Great episode! As far as the BoBF goes, just like the Kenobi series, try and find the Patterson cut of BoBF. He puts the story in chronological order! What a concept! I feel it flows so well and makes more sense then all the flashback and forth. Still love the Fett and really almost any Mando. FYI Patterson redid Ahsoka too. Haven't watched it yet but have high hopes. Might have to rewatch Stranger Things to get in the mood for Skeleton Crew. The latest trailer didn't wow me but maybe I need a kid adventure refresher. Oh well at least I have RFR to look forward too each and every week!

Marty of Georgia

I just fixed it. Thanks Scott! It’s good to hear my boy Obi-Wan remind me to trust in the force. Been a wild day

Eric from Phoenix

Great discussion guys! I think BoBF was basically an old Marvel Star Wars comic book. Some really cool stuff but didn’t necessarily make a ton of sense.
