The stakes have risen and the risks are higher than ever before as STAR WARS REBELS gets closer to the series finale. "Jedi Night" pushes our heroes to the limit, with one of them making the ultimate sacrifice. "Dume" confronts the fallout and puts the surviving members of The Ghost crew in a fight for their lives. We deal with the emotional outcome of these two episodes in this, the penultimate episode of DECLASSIFIED. Joining us for this in-memoriam roundtable are Star Wars collecting expert Dan Curto and RFR brother Billy Mac.

Rebels is Ezra's story, the same way TCW became Ahsoka's story. Kanan being blinded, and eventually dying, is all about slowly pushing Ezra front and center. That's always how I've looked at it.

Cody Cliff

I’m a little surprised at how quickly they killed Kanan. Thought that maybe the whole crew would die together.

Looks like some rethinking of mortis is on its way...

I am so glad there is only one episode of Rebels Declassified left. I have always loved Rebel Force Radio, but lately … especially with Rebels Declassified it has just descended into a negative complain fest of what Rebels is not. I know that you are entitled to your opinions (hell you built your whole podcast empire off your opinions) and you have every right to hate the show. In the past Rebels Declassified used to point out all the positive aspects of the show and just touch on the things you did not like. Now it seems like all of Rebels Declassified is complaining about what Rebels is NOT and how it does not live up to your expectations. The show used to accepting the show for what it is not what it is not! Jimmy touched on this aspect a little bit by mentioning that we should be rejoicing just to have a Star Wars TV show that has OT aspects to it, but it quickly derailed into hate of the show again after that. I am not saying that you cannot have critiques or that you have to praise every aspect of Rebels. I am just saying that Declassified used to be a generally positive show about our love for THE WARS. I used to come to listen to RFR because they always took the moral high ground and pointed out the positive aspects of Star Wars. RFR never used to get into the Nerdy Star Wars squabbles and debates. Now it is just old curmudgeons being negative all the time about how it is not their Star Wars. If I wanted that in a podcast, there are a ton of other Nerdy fanboy hate podcast out there I could switch to. I have stuck with Rebel Force Radio for well over a decade because you guys were NOT that and rose above it. I am not so sure anymore.

I know this is sacrilege to you guys, but I liked Rebels more than Clone Wars. Rebels felt more like the Star Wars I knew and grew up with in the 70s.
