Our donation was made on behalf of the Rebel Force Radio Patreon community who join us in love and support for Jonathan and his family during this tough time.

J.W. Rinzler has provided us STAR WARS fans with amazing access into the creative process of George Lucas’s original six films via his series of “Making Of” books. J.W., or as his friends call him, Jonathan, is now fighting for his life after getting diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year. Join us in sharing your appreciation for his insider insight and talent by making a donation via GoFundMe. His daughter writes "As we reach the one-year mark from his diagnosis, there are no more treatment options available; Jonathan is making end-of-life plans." We graciously thank our RFR Patreon supporters for making it possible for us to make our donation.

That’s awesome that RFR made a contribution to Jonathan’s gofundme page. I knew that you guys would. I also made a contribution myself. It wasn’t much but still. And it looks like they met their $50K goal in only a couple of days! So sad to hear about Jonathan. I really enjoyed the In the Cantina interview you guys did a while back with him.

Thanks for doing that, guys. J.W.'s work will stand the test of time as the definitive making of books for SW fans. Wish him and his family the best!
