Good show guys. Helped me get through the last part of my workday. I started rewatching some Clone Wars since you guys started discussing it. Even though the old animation is somewhat of a turnoff for me all these years later the storytelling and world building makes me forget all about it. It’s amazing.

Great job, great discussion! I think too many people miss the fact that George was trying to inject stories with a different perspective on the Clone Wars. That’s world building! Or “the middle “ as Nate called it. And it’s just as much fun as following the saga story.

Totally agree! Go back and watch the official watch order and you can really see it. I do wonder if Lucas film will go back to the Arch presentation of telling stories because outside of maybe the DC television series with their design it really has become a lost medium in story telling. Telling a condensed story over 3 or 4 parts is just really cool and allows the story teller to not be so boxed in. I know series usually have an over arching season with some filler in between but not like the clone wars. Lucas really loved doing this. Young Indiana Jones, Clone Wars, the Star Wars trilogies. Marvel does it with the numbered movies I guess. Maybe Book if Boba Fett will be kind of like that…

Can't believe we didn't hear a Zero the Hutt impersonation till the end of the show! I thought Jimmy would break it out after the first zero mention. Great conversation guys love the show

Great job Nathan! I gotta go back and watch all of the Clone Wars. My daughter was too young to watch when they first came out and she loved Bad Batch / Clone Wars final season but I can’t get her to watch the original series. I just need to fire them up. Best part is you can get three episodes done in just over an hour.
