I think the writers are treating the relationships clones like Cody had to their respective jedi generals during the clone wars with a lot of power as it seems their qualities rub off on those clones even without having their inhibitor chips removed. Echo and Rex seem more prone to take risks and do the right thing due to their time with Anakin. And Cody is thoughtful and looking for a safe intelligent choice much like Obi-wan.

These after shows have encouraged me to watch Bad Batch. Great watching it alongside these podcasts. It gives you a better insight into where the story could be heading.

I agree! Cody also went to negotiate with Tawni, which is exactly what Kenobi would have done/known for. His ship was called the negotiator for a reason.
