Forget mando…. The BEAST is back! Epic bad batch

RobO from ChicagO

Have fun folks! Won’t be able to watch the new Mando episode til after work tonight. Hope a Patreon member gets the headphones!

Duncan Bennett

Hmmm! Felt quite different tonally to me. Fair bit more cartoony than before…. Looking forward to the next one though and properly getting into the meat and bones of the season.

Barry Harmon

“Why, my Uncle Thumper had a problem with HIS apostate, and he had to take these big pills, and drink lots of water.”

Anthony Palm

Going to be honest, I’m far more interested in talking about Bad Batch. I expected lots of set up in Mando this week, but it was ALL set up lol

Anthony Palm

Not that I didn’t like it, just feel there’s not as much to talk about as the frickin’ ZILLO Beast plot line being revived

ANDREW KNUDSON

Loved Mando for sure but was pleasantly surprised with this week's bad batch!

zillobeast

Our house exploded in emotion when we saw the beast. We freaking love him.

Dean

The season opener was a garbage episode. A whole lot of nothing and it was just a mess.

Jim from Sweden

If it was 2 years skipped in Mando the story will begin to overlap The Resistance animated show. And those pirates really reminded me of those Resistance stories.

Valentin

That 2 year gap is bullcrap, I'm sorry but that's just not what is shown on the screen. Luke and Grogu don't behave like two people who have lived together for two years. Also I think it strange to bring the chain coat armor 2 years after leaving Grogu with Luke.

Rebel Force Radio

I totally see that and meant to mention it last night. It's just so hard to insert Star Wars Resistance into ANY conversation!

Jim from Sweden

I thought Resistance was fun. I liked the "clear line" "cell shaded" style. I started to get vibes that the story would deepen with time in the second season, but sadly imo it ended and wrapped a bit abruptly.

Jim from Sweden

On the contrary, I think much more time passes between cuts, episodes and seasons. It seems silly that they would be on a constant adventure streak without down time.

Brian Robinson

Very nice, I'm glad you guys awarded Blake one of those Mando Logitech Head Sets!

Valentin

Of course it would be normal that some time has passed between the seasons but again this is not what is shown on the screen. Do you honestly feel that the scenes between Grogu and Luke gives the impression of seeing two people who have been training together for two years? I mean, Luke would have waited two years to mention that he knew someone of the same species as Grogu ? He would have waited two years to start trying to understand where Grogu's problem with the Force comes from ? He would have waited two years to only start teaching him how to do Force jumps ?
