Hey guys! Thought I’d send along photos of my new collection, movie and video game space! It’s quite different from my old space (as seen in an early RFR Collector Spotlight post). I was able to bring together all my interests and am able to convert the room into a movie space with a 100” screen and 4K projector. Surround sound is a work in progress, but stereo has a real kick! The movie space also converts to the guest room. I’ve also included a peek at my SEGA and Sonic collection on the opposite side of the space, where I record podcasts and do graphic design work.

Thanks!

Great collection and I love how you have it organized. Looks amazing! Would be a great room to be a guest in :)

Great collection !!

Jared Cantor

Awesome collection and a really nice looking display. I could totally imagine myself spending hours going through the space and finding all sorts of great stuff to ask about.

Cameron Gore

That projector setup looks awesome!

Thanks for posting! I love the new space, feels a lot more modern and comfortable than the old space. The one downside is the inability to display my 3.75” collection, but I’m debating a rotating shelf where I can put out a selection from storage. It’s going to be fun seeing Ahsoka premiering on the big screen!

Thanks! It was a pandemic purchase, made the home premieres of movies a lot more special. Now I just need rear speakers and a subwoofer.

Barry Harmon

Thanks! Sometimes I’ll just stand and stare and ask myself questions.

My plan is to get Tyler so drunk he has to stay over, and then at 3am I'm putting The Phantom Menace on at full blast.

In the words of Borat, “Very nice!” Love how clean it looks.

Scott St. Louis

What a fabulous collection, I love the different themes, and how nicely they blend together. Thank you for sharing!

Love the setup in the new place Barry! Especially how clean and neat it looks - makes my OCD happy 😃

Beautiful collection. Love the cantina print!

Eric from Phoenix

Good plan but I think a great plan would be to make him watch the Holiday Special while over served. That could be a fun thing to watch.

Absolutely Love It !!!

Thanks! I enjoy organized clutter aesthetics. It is especially apparent in my Sonic shelves.

Thanks! That was a poster from the Star Wars Insider shop. My dad had it mounted on a wooden frame. Unfortunately they also cropped the top but from what I see, the entire top of the poster was black. It looks more like a 16:9 scene now.

I also caved and bought that Rancor Flight from Galaxy’s Edge, it’s just sitting in my pantry right now 😂🤣

Turtle Wars

Wow, very nice collection you have there, and nicely displayed too! Sure makes me miss having my collection on display, 45 years of collecting is mostly in storage for now. Thanks for sharing!

Barry Harmon

Thanks! I have quite a lot in storage. Real Ghostbusters, TMNT, Simpsons, DVDs, 1970s video games. I’ve kinda stopped collecting all those so I don’t have to store any more.

Michael McManus

That’s awesome! Love the way you have everything displayed!

Matthew Krahn

Wow!! This is beautiful my friend, what a room.

I was going to comment on the old TV, but I see you have your classic consoles hooked up to it. That makes sense and is the sign of a true retro gamer. Great setup and room.

Barry Harmon

Can’t play lightgun games otherwise! Also anything 70s and 80s looks like shit on a modern TV. I have an Atari VCS and Intellivision (not pictured)

Eric from Phoenix

B-17 Bomber on intellivision is such a great game. I found a version I could play on my computer. Still fun. “Watch out for flak”. “Bandit, 12 o’clock”

Chris Kalan

Great stuff ! Love the room!

ANDREW KNUDSON

Great collection Barry! I love how you have everything organized.
