Great show this week. I think slowing down the content coming out and lowering the budgets could be a good thing. Mid-low budget filmmakers usually have to be extra creative during the filmmaking process which can give great results much like A New Hope did. Gareth Edwards has a movie called The Creator coming out soon which only had a 85 million dollar budget and it looks as good as a film with a budget double that. It’s possible!

I was one of those that started to get spoiled by the dial of destiny review last week. I had to stop the podcast when I realized where it was going. Hopefully I get a pass…the day the movie released, I left for 10 days off the grid in the mountains of Montana to be a mentor at a camp for gold star kids of fallen service members. When I got back, my son was out of town visiting a buddy for a week and we agreed to wait for each other and watch together. I picked him up from the Nashville airport last Sunday and we went direct to a bougie theater to watch the movie. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and listened to the boys’ review on the drive home. All good, I’m not really spoiler sensitive and enjoyed the review…cheers.

I know how Disney can save a whole bunch of money - replace Bob - with Bob AIger. I’m enjoy the Ahsoka chat, and I saw a theory online that suggested that Shin Hati was the clone - the theory thought it might be a clone of Luke but I find this part highly unlikely. Maybe Thrawn tasked Balin as a ex Jedi to teach her? Very interesting theory! P.S: probably should tell Sam Jackson to not watch the Acolyte - Vernestra Rhow has a purple lightsaber.

Spoke to Mike Quinn a few weeks ago at a con and he said The Acolyte looks the best of the upcoming Star Wars shows. Probably be while until we get any official trailers for it though with the projects up first.

I saw the trailer for that movie at the Indiana Jones movie and then again at the Mission Impossible movie. Looks like a cross between Star Wars, Terminator and Blade Runner. Did you notice the scene in the trailer with the robots coming out of the water onto the beach. Looks like what was in all the Rogue One promo shots but got cut out of the final film.

I died laughing when Jim couldn’t get Lola to shut up. I would love to see a ton of stuff pulled from the Heir to the Empire novel into the Ahsoka series. Please pull a bunch of the stuff over :)
