When I released Elantra, people were obviously asking about next TCR car. I said that I didn't plan doing more, unless some good oportunity appears. And it did. I discovered very good quality 3D model, released for free under creative commons license. Finaly I was able to use my already finished physics for this car, which was used for ComToYou Racing private mod.

Audi TCR is based on the same platform like Cupra Leon Competicion, so both cars are very similar and share a lot of common things, like the engine, gearbox, almost the whole suspension, interior parts. But there are some small differences. Audi has slightly different ARB configuration options, and its center of gravity is slightly more in the front than Cupras. Rear axle is configured differently as well. It might feel a little more planted.

This mod is not fully finished, but from technical side everything is working. The mod has LoDs, working animations, couple of skins from TCR Europe and TCR Eastern Europe, working launch control, working lights, wipers, its fully rain ready. For now I used the sounds from my previous Cupra version, because both cars have the same engine, but in the future I will try to get proper sound mod for this car. I have some big plans with my friend Fabricio (CorsaMode), but we need to wait for next season to record the proper samples.

Of course, this mod is fully BoPed to Elantra and Cupra (versions 1.1), so now you can enjoy more variety in your TCR races. This car will be added to the LFM TCR rooster next season, stay tuned!

Great Job Fuzo!!

Sss47@

will the sound of the 1.0 version be made by corsamode?

Fuzo's Workshop

not sure if it will be 1.0, most likely not, but later for sure. Me and Fabricio are in touch and we are planning to rework all the sounds for all three TCR cars to highest possible quality. I bought pretty decent audio recorder and I plan to record the sounds directly from the cars, I just need to get access to the cars, and it wont be sooner than in April 2025, when next season starts. Fabricio already has such a recording from Cupra, which I did couple of months ago. At that time I had no idea I will do Elantra and Audi unfortunatelly.... We both are excited what can be achieved with it, because it is pretty detailed and high quality.

Thanks, you are making a fun race series great!

This is a phenomenal car!

Fantastic work Fuzo, all of these cars are brilliant

Feel like its important to let you know that the Audi TCR car is not made by the person that uploaded it on Sketchfab. It's the Rennsport 3D model. It was recently released onto steam for free so people have ripped the 3D models from it. Making sure you are aware since you mentioned CCA in your post.

Turk Burk

Just looking at their profile is enough to come to that conclusion, Unless they are directly involved with Rennsport themselves, But i can't find any evidence of that and i seriously doubt that Rennsport devs would let their 3D artists upload their 3D models for free. https://imgur.com/a/eaqv8AE https://www.igcd.net/game.php?id=1000016536

This is exactly the car I had asked for or proposed as 3rd car for the TCR ‘24, thanks!!!!

Hi, first of all, i really liked the mod. I think its important to mention that TCR cars are allowed to race with ABS. Will this feature be added in the future? Great mod and keep up the awesome development.

2000 denes

Well, his catalogue on sketchfab just happens to line up perfectly with rennsport’s car list, and also he put rennsport in the tags under the model

Fuzo's Workshop

No plans to add ABS since it is not used in TCR series which I have data from. But you can force TC and ABS for these cars in AC settings, it should work.

Fuzo's Workshop

Its obvious those models are used in Rennsport game,I never claimed the oposite, but the whole story how and why it appeared at Sketchfab might be different than we might think. I know how ripped files usually look like and these files and the whole profile which uploaded it suggested to me it was legit. Since Rennsport is being developed by a Polish dev studio Teyon (known for games like Terminator: Resistance and Robocop: Rogue City) which is small studio with a lot of external contractors and artists, I assumed, that the "Design Studio Poland" made this models and decided to show off his/their work to get better job or something. We can just speculate about it. I tried to reach the person who uploaded it to confirm the origin of the model, but for now without response. Anyways, even though I think I am not obliged to research the origin of the 3D model which appeared under CC license on supposedly legit web service, I will treat this 3D model as "potential rip" and will try to do something with it in the future, or just keep it as it is. Nobody gives a sh*t about it in AC scene anyways...

It's an absolutely amazing car!!! The only bummer for me is that it only works with CSP 0.25, and I use many apps that support only 0.24. I suppose it's impossible to fix... Thank you for the amazing work during all these years!

Fuzo's Workshop

all my TCR cars are locked to CSP 0.2.4 public build, available for free in CM, so everything including and above 0.2.4 should work.

Fuzo's Workshop

update on sounds... They will be released sooner than expected, since I already have test build for both Cupra and Audi...

Kalin Petrov

In fact, for me, it works with the free version of 0.24 and preview version 0.25. But when I use preview 0.24 I receive a message: Your build: 3045, Required build: 3116.

Fuzo's Workshop

Looks like preview version of 0.2.4 is older than the final public version. I am wondering, which apps work in 0.2.4 preview and not in 0.2.5 preview?

Turk Burk

Yeah that's completely fair tbh, As long as the model looks good it's good enough for me Was not aware that Rennsport was being made by an polish studio tbh? Though it was German. so that is on me lol.

Fuzo's Workshop

The parrent company is indeed German but they hired Teyon to do the programming, at least they are mentioned in the Rennsport credits. Teyon has experience with Unreal Engine, but as I said, they are "B" studio with very limited resources. I like their Terminator and Robocop games very much, I am big fan of these movies and the games, even though low budget passion projects, they are really good. I am following pretty closely Rennsport development since they announced it will be moddable, I even played with my Slovakia Ring in UE5 editor a little couple of months ago so. But to be honest, I am dissapointed with the game in its current state. Especially TCRs, they are pretty bad IMO.

Hey! Lovely car! as always, just figerd I let you know that my AC started behaving realy slow after installing the car and the new CSP 2.5 previe version. like a lot of grafik jitter. dont know what make it go bad. but i let you know. keep up the good work!

Fuzo's Workshop

there were a lot of Windows and CM updates recently, I wouldnt blame some car mod to break the whole AC experience...

Sebastian

It seems unlikly, i just figerd i let you know if more ppl have the same issue.
