Cupra Leon VZ TCR 2024 (Patreon)

If you are a TCR fan and following relevant media a little, you might have heard that Cupra continues supporting their TCR program and will release new model of Leon TCR for season 2024, called simply "Leon VZ TCR". For now, there is not much data available, not even one picture of new car exists for now, but from the articles and some info from my secret sources, I already know what the changes will be. And of course, I plan to bring this car to the virtual world for people to race actual spec of the Cupra TCR. 

Main changes for this version will be mostly inside the car, not so much outside (I hope). The car will receive a lot of stuff from stepping down Audi - Sadev gearbox, Ohlins dampers, revised front suspension, formula style steering wheel and bigger Ecumaster MFD. All this will be reflected into the new mod.

Since even Cupra itself does not probably know how the final product will look like (according to my sources), I am not touching the body for now. I am currently working on the physics of the car. I already have data for the gearbox, for the dampers, I remodelled the steering wheel and I moddified the Ecumaster (will probably need rework). When some pictures of an actual car will appear in public (expected around April), I will look on the external visuals, if something will change there. But I sincerelly hope Cupra will be lazy to change the shape of the bodykit and will just adjust the materials :)

Of course, except the upgrades for VZ model, there will be even some updates for all other parts of the physics which wont be touched by Cupra. The final car will be slightly different to 2022 version which is publicly available now, like:

• improved tyre model which will use some useful extended physics features like extended raytracing,
• aero reworked according to real data,
• suspension geometry pickup points will be redesigned,
• new interior sounds...

Together with this car, I will work in paralel on another TCR car as well. Which one I will keep for my self for a while :) The plan is to release it together somewhere around Q2 and it will be released if everything will go well exclusively for very well known racing portal, which became one of the main sponsor for this whole project :)
