New scene / new roughs! (Patreon)

Apologies if the updates are sparse between page releases. I really get bogged down in the details sometimes and completely lose track of time! This scene in particular was one of the most concerning scenes in Volume 2. I never felt the writing in it was strong enough, motivations weren't clear, and the plot direction felt weak. 

After intense scrutiny and doing revision #zillion, I think was I able to make the scene MUCH stronger, better plot movement, character development and motivations, etc. I also thought this scene was going to be 4 pages, and ended up being DOUBLE at 8 pages! It was worth it though. Lots of characters, Satri's debut, new locations, fun dialogue, etc. What was once one of my most loathed scenes has ended up being possibly one of my favorites!

Maybe that will change again... in time haha. Here's some ultra roughs, far from done, but created for the page layouts.
