"We were promised consistent Regenerator access with appropriate breaks, a weekly Nemesis course, and weekly Mr. X visits."
"Yes?"
"All we've been doing for a full month is traipse around in these ridiculous uniforms, writing parking tickets."
"As is part of your contract."
"As are the previously mentioned conditions. We're the only ones not in contract breach here."
"If you have an issue with it, I suggest you go to-"
"Wesker, we've formed a union and are here to state our official demands."
He paused, his hand slowly coming up to, shakily, remove his shades, putting them down onto the table with a strained sigh.
"We'll expect an answer by the end of the week."
Before he had much of a chance to interject, the three ladies left the room, Ada with her hips swaying, Sheva with her shoulders squared, and Rebecca pausing to give him a semi-apologetic glance over her shoulder before hurrying after the other two. His hand went for the phone on his desk - not merely ornamental, but a fully functioning relic of the past - and punched in numbers that were all too familiar to him. He always thought it felt better, more decisive, over that of touchscreens or other modern solutions, to get to properly compress buttons into a shell that gave tactile feedback with each motion, and this time he was very thorough.
"Hrm."
Clearing his throat, he let the signals go by, feeling his patience grow thinner still with each that blared into his ear, before finally, an audible click cut them short.
"Yes?"
"CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!"
"Hello Wesker. You sound irritable."
Wesker sunk back into his office chair and sighed, picking up his shades to absentmindedly study how they caught the embers of orange from his desk lamp.
"... we're in deep shit, Chris."

Bit of a silly story to motivate squeezing these ladies into Jill's RE5 getup, but it is what it is! Rebecca Chambers will also be joining the gallery by Friday, this being one of the tests I wanted to put her through to gauge stability and performance, and she passed with flying colors. I had to do a bit of a custom face sculpt of hers as, while I really liked the base model otherwise, I thought she looked a step too far away from her old Resident Evil appearances, which are the ones that appealed to me personally, so I've been painstakingly doing my own work on her in that sense.
Hope you enjoy it folks, and thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words! The weekend has been hectic and I've been suffering some from really strong sleeping medication effectively zombifying me during daytime, so I sadly had little in the way of an animation ready for today, hence the wallpaper instead. The Scenario is slated for a release next Monday, where we'll see what Sadako has been up to all this time, so I hope you're looking forward to that at least :)
Please take care of yourselves out there, as well as each other!
