I am bothered about all the Demi blame. Sometimes someone is not right for you even if they are not a "bad" person. We don't have to make her terrible and insecure and immature, etc. Wanting someone to be near you and hold your hand, etc. is simple ish for someone you are supposedly in "new love" with. You are around everyone being lovey dovey. If you can slap me on the azz and hold my hand in private, you can do it in public, especially around a bunch of people who are all literally doing the same thing right in your face. It's always terribly unfair when people who have issues that make being in a relationship more of a challenge are chosen for shows like this. It's not fair to whomever ends up with then. The time clock is too fast for most people under any circumstance, but anyone with any level of nuerodivergence, it is extra hard for them, and absolutely not fair to their mate. Then no matter what happens, everyone bends over backwards to excuse their behavior and make the mate the problem. This is a full, working adult with ADHD, he doesn't have a brain injury. Many of us deal with adults every day with ADD and ADHD, some of us are their mothers. That does not make them stupid or fully incapable of knowing when they are being an a-hole.

If cheating in the past is such a huge dealbreaker for Kat, WHY didn’t she bring it up in the pods? 🤦‍♀️ It has obviously totally changed her view of Freddie. (I think it’s fine to have those feelings, but this show gives you the perfect opportunity to bring it up before committing to someone)

Yes! I love Demi, and I’m not mad at her for anything she’s done. Also it makes no sense how the premise of the show is “love May or may not be blind, let’s see if y’all still like each other once you can see each other after the pods” and then when anyone is like “actually I’m worried he may not be physically attracted to me” then we like brand her with a Scarlet “i” for insecure and we’re all like “why can’t you just relax? What’s wrong with you?”

THANK YOU! It's aggravating. Also, since when has dang near everyone on the planet NOT been insecure. As a black woman, I take particular issue with the narrative because it's also being conveniently ignored that his other "connection" was the stereotypical universal preference (thin, blond and white). Then he flaunted that preference by having no issue with eye contact and flirting all up in her face. That adds a whole other layer to this that is not about insecurity, but the reality of the world (and we have seen the UK dating shows).

I totally agree and to just add to that, Love is blind, regardless of the production company and location, seems to only cast thin, attractive people. Demi is a beautiful woman, but she is not traditionally thin she’s obviously got a bigger frame than cat, but she found a connection and of course we are having to witness what tends to happen with women who are fuller figured all the time. She is very aware That she’s not a stick figure and on the show it is being showcased and she’s having to compete with a thin, white woman, even though she and Ollie are supposed to be committed. It is so frustrating to watch. Why do they keep perpetuating that being fit in the only way to find a partner!!

Ollie is very clearly not attracted to Demi and she doesn’t deserve to have her insecurities validated by his constant making eyes at Cat and avoiding physical touch with Demi. Personally, I find Cat to be a butter face and while that is just my opinion, it does affect the way I view her segments. She’s fit and goes to the gym. Okay, great 👍 but obviously Ollie can’t look away and EVERYONE has taken notice. He’s embarrassing Demi and it isn’t fair to her.
