I feel like Married at First Sight, while not my favorite show, does let you go on the journey a little more and the seasons I've seen doesn't seem like they try to pull the rug out from under you like LIB. So it can be done, and I agree this season was 🤌🏻🤌🏻

It’s Wynyard Hall. Was trying to find the song title/artist of the song that Sabrina walks down the aisle to (doesn’t come up on Shazam) and saw the wedding venue name at the end of the credits. Wasn’t a fan of the room Steven and Sabrina got married in but loved the one set up for Tom and Maria’s wedding.

He's the worst!!!! He said bloody hell as he was walking down the aisle WTF. He should not let her come out. Feels like Maria is clearly still grieving her dad and this is not a great time for her to make this life decision. He sucks. He went to her mom and asked for her blessing. But TBH she didn't seem that upset. Which makes me think they came to an agreement before the wedding.

I don’t think any rationale of “is this crazy?” Is left on the US LIB cutting-room floor. The UK cast is 10yrs older. Half the US cast doesn’t have fully developed frontal lobes and live in cities where it’s more common to marry in your early 20s. Rationale has yet to enter the equation. Lol. I really enjoyed this UK season/cast. ☺️

Tom's excuse pissed me off! He didn't want to marry Maria, so he basically blames it on wanting his future daughter to pay for things? Who says she wouldn't? I disagree - she said in the pods she wanted a “traditional” gender roles and he didn’t. They both minimized it there and shouldn’t have moved for forward in the first place. Maria would have raised kids EXACTLY the way Tom described.

yes! I liked that the pre-wedding chats with family and friends were streamlined. The entire series felt more focused. US version needs to do the same.

I think because Tom was so torn between Maria and Tash in the pods that when he finally saw Tash and saw they still had chemistry PLUS the issues with Maria on culture and values; he felt he’d rather have chemistry with a future wife and have more things in common. Also, the thing with the ice cream is that I feel Maria tricked him in a sense because didn’t she offer to pay? If so, I think that’s an unkind setup of you KNOW you want the other person to pay. And let’s face it,,,,it was just ice cream; not a Four Season meal or a down payment.

I almost got married in a former bank LOL. It was an awesome venue- Latrobe's on Royal in New Orleans. I remember the bar was located in the former bank safe and that was my favorite part! It was among my top two choices (maybe my #1 but more $$) and we wound up going for the Napolean House (also in New Orleans).

There’s a hotel in Durham that has old bank vaults downstairs and an art museum upstairs with rotating collections - it is so fierce. Yall should so do a show in Durham! It rivals Asheville with its queerness. The restaurants are amazing too.
