I subscribe via Patreon but listen to the Plus feed on Apple Podcasts - after all this, it just magically worked, didn’t have to do anything!

Just FYI: Pocket Casts here. Mine switched over automatically but then archived all the old episodes episodes and oddly marked them as unplayed, even some I hadn’t listened to yet (Working through everything before listening to X after lock up). And Apple here — Spotify fucked up a few years ago and I lost everything I had listened to in terms of music or podcasts. After that, I also track what I listen to in Apple Podcasts, and Spotify (at some point I’ll go in an mark recent or random episodes as played—yes there may also be a spreadsheet copy for podcasts I truly care about (including RG lol) thinking if one crashes again I don’t have to spend forever figuring out which episodes I’ve listened to and marking them as played again. Can confirm Apple moved over but weirdly marked the Bi-Curiouses, random episodes where you co-hosted with people, and shorter divers (like marrying millions) as unplayed but did not mark all of the 90 day shows I listened to as unplayed, only some of them. I’d just use Apple but Pocket Casts allows you to sort by podcast length (so I can knock out shorter ones if I have 20 minutes of free time or knock out longer ones if I’m doing a road trip or cleaning the house and you can have it auto trim out long pauses in a show, skip the first or last X amount of seconds— not idea for RG but definitely for some other podcasts, and play at 1.1+ speed (again not idea for RG but definitely for other podcasts— sometimes I forget to turn it off and my husband will comment the gays are extra jazzy today lol). Plus it tells you how many minutes of podcasts you’ve listened to since you’ve used the app in real time instead of just the end of the year. In case you want to feel disgusted with yourself lol Highly recommend!

I came on my iPad to listen to the info using the Patreon app. After seeing the comments I checked my Apple Podcasts and it works just fine.

I added the new RSS feed on PocketCasts without realizing it had already updated itself but I removed the old feed & when I started listening to The Golden Bachelorette there were ads in the episode

Ok, question: I was able to activate my Patreon on Spotify, but there doesn't seem to be old Patreon episodes...is that right? I haven't listened to Queer Ultimatum yet (downloaded eps on Podcast Addict), but scrolling down the feed on Spotify, they aren't there (May 2023). I guess you don't have access to the entire past catalogue like you do on Patreon? I never wanted to be a Carl's Wife, yet here I am...🫣. Thanks for any input!

When I use the Patreon app and clicked on the three dots it was automatically there. It wasn’t there when I went through just Patreon on my phone.

That is what I do, but it brings me to separate page to add rss feed or add to spotify. I am using the app.
