My mother was very similar to Rob. He will always find a way to be the victim; Sophie is in a perpetual losing situation with him. Rob thrives off pity, will never see her side of things because that takes his power away, & will always find something in her that he can throw at her to continue to put himself in the victim position. She’ll never be able to make him happy cause he won’t allow it to happen. Her misery (& anyone else’s) is his power.

OHMYGOD WHY was La Cage at Pasadena Playhouse SO BAD??? Half the cast were Tony nominees and yet it felt so amateur. I stayed for the whole thing but I fully support leaving a show at intermission. Life is too short to sit through bad theater.

Poodle is correct - I went to an AMC and it was way more trailers than I usually see. I did see a mix of grown up and kid trailers so it was kind of weird. I would say usually 15-20 minutes is the most in previews I see for other movies, including Moana 2.

Just wanted to chime in on the whole stuffed animal thing. I’m a grown ass woman but I still need to have stuffed animals around for exactly the reason you brought up. I totally agree! But, man, Ari is such a narcissist I’m actually cheering for Binni. The way she talks down to him and keeps making herself the victim “I can’t let go of my rock” just drives me crazy! And the fact that the therapist didn’t call her out for, as he correctly labeled it, the blackmail of holding his passwords hostage! That’s a shitty therapist in my view.

Ok I am so annoyed. Ari is never giving Bini the passwords. It is so gross to watch her play victim while she controls his livelihood, connection with family/friends, etc. The way she constantly tries to belittle and control him in every way… I only watched their first season and I could barely stomach her then too. Bini has his flaws too but there’s something about Ari that’s like nails on a chalkboard for me.
