I’m catching up on these and I screamed at the TV. Lydia wouldn’t have been so into this random dude and this imaginary relationship if she had friends and an actual life outside her family. This show is so triggering for me since I was raised Evangelical and so much this makes me crazy. I loathe Kim! 🤣🤣🤣 Ok. Back to catching up.

I hope everyone gives Olivia some grace. Having estranged parents and relationships with siblings who are not estranged from them is extremely difficult to navigate and never gets easier. There is no right or wrong way to do this. Boundaries are important and anyone who has not been in this type of situation will never truly understand. I do think the family Plath talked about the tractor incident... I think the mom chose to put all the blame on the oldest daughter because "she was supposed to be watching her baby brother", and that's part of the reason she moved far alway. And when she moved away, the blame also went away.... And at that point, the parents disassociated.
