I have always felt that Molly really set aside her better judgment for some reason when it came to allowing Luis into her childrens home with zero introduction before hand. If she would have taken the girls on a trip with her to the DR I think it would have become quicky apparent that Luis had no interest in being any type of father. Its almost like she decided to put blinders on and forged ahead just hoping things would work out.

As a mother there is no way I would have a stranger move into my home. There is zero justification, in my mind, for a parent (mother or father) to bring people into their lives in the way these people do. I understand they might feel lonely and want someone in their life, but there is a way to do that without bringing your child into it. Yes, family Libby is the perfect example of grossness. 🤢

Molly is a woman who is resilient, intelligent , and confident…. Until she’s looking for a partner . All of that goes up in smoke when she’s dating , early on something in her flips , and she ends up leading with her inner most insecurities on the outside . It’s led her to almost paralyzing passivity with Luis , and her oldest sees it too! You’ll see as the season progresses how Molly can’t hold both sides of herself with Luis ( or he’d have never been brought here ), and it’s horribly sad . To her credit , she’s appeared to have grown tremendously from 2017 ( at least as far as TV shows us ) . And I agree about having Luis in the home with her kids - she has every right to do what she wants WHILE PUTTING THOSE KIDS FIRST longer than she wanted to . I’m not saying I’m perfect , and she’s very blessed to have not had those girls suffer more than they did. She’s a good mom , I feel for her , and Luis in the house was a huge mistake .

I know people love Molly, but I’ve never gotten over this season of her. She’s the kind of person who puts her dating life ahead of her kids, and that’s so gross to me. I’m not saying a mom shouldn’t date, but you need to be careful about who you bring home and around them.

YESS! Aaaaah!! I am here for the Tracy Letts commentary. I have seen him perform full-length improvised shows with Dave Pasquesi in Chicago. Tracy Letts is a genius- maybe August Osage County holds up better in print- its very spare for how emotionally charged it is..... Superios Donuts was a great play. Ugh... can't wait for Tracy's next play, the Minutes- its release has been mysteriously delayed for years.
