Felons can't live or be around other felons. So I think some of these people can't move home or live with family maybe because those people are on paper or can't live with other felons. Right? Also some apartments or landlords won't allow it either. Just a few reasons I could think of.

I knew Poodle would go in on this. Agree about the many layers compelling all of the roommates. The religious married couple….the issue of control and denial is wild. Agree that her kink is danger and reforming a “bad guy”. I got the sense that both her ans her husband may have some cognitive limitations because their decisions seem really “off”. That they both thought it OK for her to drive 10 hours and sleep outside in a parking lot by herself to meet a man she met from corresponding by pen pal while their marriage was rocky…..um….

The layers of Dr Henry….whew. A fascinating reveal of a psychiatrist in need of counseling. His family history of hoarding was intriguing. Definitely a lot there. I’m getting abandonment issues with him and his feeling like a surrogate father to DQ is fulfilling many needs. DQ is very aware of Dr Henry’s inability to be a mentor who can coach him in all areas - being a black man in this country being one of them. This will be interesting to see play our.

Artie - loneliness seems to be her major issue. I can’t tell if this is a surrogate mom thing or something else. It was very telling how she felt he owed her time ahead of him seeing his own mother. I could’ve sworn she said she was 52/53 since it took me off guard since she seemed older. I don’t think Jovan is going to want to stay there too long.

the young couple - like poodle, I thought her affect seemed to be one of someone on something. Whether she is or not, she’s trying to set boundaries and her boyfriend is oblivious. Good boundaries she’s setting with him letting him know she’s out of there.
