I’m with Poodle, the Chelsea & Kwame scenes were cringe AF. Like, I hope they’re genuinely happy, but if they are why does it always feel so try-hard? The drawn-out tiny kisses and the constant platitudes about marriage, I just… cannot. 🙄

Nothing was wrong with your old recording devices!! New one has a slight humming sound in background and it sounds like you are far away from the microphones. Old system definitely preferable!

I was thoroughly annoyed by Chelsea queuing up Kwame’s story. I think it’s because his siblings, who were also a part of the story (it’s their story too!), were sitting right there. But she’s using that as this moment to purposefully put Kwame in a different light to the audience.

I’m so glad I was validated for my feelings for Paul’s mom. She even mentioned Paul’s dad as if they haven’t been divorced for years. She needs to find friends her age and perhaps keep Micah as close as Paul is comfortable with.

I think Chelsea is genuine, so I don’t mind her that much. She is genuinely a very intense person. Kwame just seemed like a trained puppy. Anytime she said something lovey dovey he would obediently turn for the obligatory kiss. Whenever she spoke intensely and cried, he’d just sit there until it was time to turn and kiss her. During that scene with their families when she was talking about that note to his mom and she was crying and Barbara was crying, Kwame just kept his head down and ate his food through the entire segment. It made me laugh.

While I am not an HSP I spent too much time in audio production and it has left me sensitive. The tinny quality and the echo were really tough to listen to. I really appreciate you guys trying to up the game so please don’t take this as snarky criticism but instead as loving feedback. You do need a warm quality to your sound and you used to have it, but this isn’t it.

Amy, I'm with you. Team Poodle all the way! How many times can Chelsea fake cry? I'm crying in the locker room at the game, I'm crying in the hallway to the field, I'm crying after the pitch, I'm crying talking about me crying. FAKE, FAKE, FAKE. If I gave those talks, Love is love is love my friends would be like wth is wrong with you? C'mon, and she always makes sure the camera is on her before she gives one of her stern talks or speeches. I've been to many a cocktail party and never seen one person give so many long-winded opinions. I can't stand her! and her husband eh? just takes it. ICK, ICK, ICK. other than that I'm sure she is a nice person. She does dress well but has to make sure everyone notices how great she looks. BTW, I love you both so much and just joined to become a patron you both make me smile and laugh hysterically. Thank you!

Y’all. Yes the sound quality isn’t the same but they’re working through the kinks! But on another note, I can say with 100% certainty/experience that the hug chelsea gave Micah was definitely the teacher/problem student hug at the end of the year 😂 “good luck in 4th grade” 💀💀

The Kacia/Marshall thing was a little confusing. He said they went on 1 date. She said they had been texting and stuff so it felt like more than 1 date, but they may have only actually met up the one time. I think it may have been a case of interpretation. She considered the messaging to be part of their "dating" while he was being literal.
