When Stacy came down the aisle talking to people, I knew that she was saying no. She wasn’t taking it seriously and she seemed to be trying to loosen the atmosphere. So glad that they didn’t work out because it would have been a terrible marriage for both of them.

I feel like a lot of people are being a bit unfair saying Stacy was focused only on money, and Izzy is certainly doing the absolute most to spin it that way. I really do think that she could have been fine if he'd been up front & she knew he had a plan to fix it. When she said to her mother that if he'd wanted to be honest, he would have told her sooner, that's the crux of it. It's the lie. They have designated days in the pods where they have to talk about specific topics, one of which is finances, so he absolutely had the opportunity to have that sit down conversation he says he wanted. And he did have that conversation...with Johnie, he told her about his financial situation in the pods, he actively chose not to do the same with Stacy. He's absolutely that gym bro but Poodle's right that he's the douche, the hookup trinket drawer is 100% who he is, and that's actually the moment that Stacy decided she was going to say no. And the weird obsession with how 'hot' it was to see Stacy 'take on' Johnie only solidified it. The lack of seriousness in the ceremony drove me nuts, and the way Stacy came down the aisle completely unserious sealed the deal for me that she was a no. Milton & Lydia have no business being married, there's no way that ends well. She's going to be mommying him the whole way. I don't trust the edit at all, especially after last season. They had us grabbing pitchforks over Kwame applying to be on a show based in a city he didn't live in, only for us to find out that others in were in the same boat. Micah & Brett didn't live in Seattle either, and it was never front & center in their arcs.

I really appreciated the engineer discussion during this episode. I just went on 2 dates with a software engineer and the way he sees the world is fascinating to me. I studied psychology and am very empathetic and cautious. He seems to approach relationships just as he would a work project.

I was hoping you guys would pick up on how many times this season Izzy mentions that Stacy is a hard nut to crack but sweet and tender on the inside including twice I think in this episode including his vows. It says a lot about his lack of imagination and rehearsing how to portray emotion.

I turned on Stacy when she started picking a fight w Izzy the night he was doing her bidding w Johnie. She totally made him feel like shit for no reason. She does seem like a snob!! She said no because she wants him to get out of debt first, I'm sure.
