I have several Hindu friends that celebrate Christmas as a secular holiday. Their immigrant parents see it as an American holiday for fun and family and festivities. I never understand why staunch Christian faith’s can’t just get together and have fun without turning every tradition into some sort of statement. Even Jesus partied at weddings and celebrated Passover.

My sister in law accidentally opened a gift my dad had gotten for my mom….It was a huge black strap on. My family was forever changed in that moment. So to me the butt plug seemed pretty tame.

My cat just passed away last month. She was 27 1/2 years old. My cat beat Flossy and in June Guinness flew to my home and we got a big plaque and they took photos because she was the world’s oldest living cat. I’d had her since the moment she was born. Her name was Nukat (like new cat) and she was a black Persian. I won’t lie…my world is still shattered. She shared my pillow for more than half of my life. I can’t tell you how empty my house feels. After so long she became a part of me and not having her always on my heels really sucks.
