Evan looked at him, then down at the motorcycle again, he knew Marcus was not joking, but deep down he had to ask.

“Is it safe?”

Marcus couldn’t help but laugh lightly. “The bike is.” he smirked.

“...”

Evan stared again, but narrowed his eyes. “I’m serious…!” He blushed, knowing exactly what he meant with that “joke”. Innocence was no longer part of his person. Marcus clearly knew he’d go there.

Marcus smiled, “I’ve used it for almost 2 years, no accidents yet, probably more safe than using a car if you know what you’re doing. Don’t quote me on that, I don’t own a car.” he chuckled, once again making space for Evan on the back. “I’m probably more of a danger than the bike...” he smirked again, stretching his back.

You have no idea. Evan thought, not being able to stop himself from thinking how good Marcus’ back looked in that white shirt. The fuck, stop it. 

He brushed his thoughts away, rubbing his cheek as he approached him. Trying not to let him show how much his words were not a joke to him, “Fine, yeah, let’s go.”

Marcus grinned, once again making space for him.
