Incredible sounds! All my arm hairs stood up at 17:15. It was like the intro to an explosive track. Not sure what other people mean by “off the grid”, but I do sometimes find it harder to do, say, really unstructured ambient work in Ableton. It’s perfectly possible, I just find it takes extra effort to work around the regimented grid, loop lengths, time signatures, and so on. I hardly ever leave the session view — i bet just doing that would help a lot.
