Nerd In the North Achievements (Patreon)

Some people might have been wondering how I do achievements for rolls.

So, basically, if I write something in the storyline that I deem impressive for Greg that I can (usually) find a corellation to in a video game or MMO (except for the losing the virginity one), I roll a D12 on Google (1-6 is a tails, 7-12 is a heads).

  • Heads: Achievement Get!

  • Tails: No Achievement.

This means stuff like Assassination Counter: Through your own actions, reverse an assassination attempt onto someone else finally broke through while ALL of these came up tails.

  • Marked Man: Survive Your First Assassination Attempt

  • Pattern Recognition: Begin to See Connections Between Attempts

  • Five Lives: Survive Five Distinct Assassination Attempts

  • Price on Your Head: Become Known as a Hard Target to Kill

Side note, I'm thinking of doing a Celestial Forge SI in Cyberpunk 2077

Btw z do you plan to still update your cult of the lamb fic I'm still pretty interested to see how that would play out given it's a fusion fic like where the heart is

Celestial Forge SI in Cyberpunk 2077 story sounds cool but i would rather see more Nerd in the north chapters.

To me it seems the only way to make it work without immediately grabbed by corps ( our world is already basically surveillance state in cyberpunk though...) is to power game to outpace escalating danger of corps which will turn boring pretty fast or to have smart MC and slowly amass power while making minimal waves or at least having powers masked as normal tech/hacks/cybernetics. I have seen it being attempted about dozen times and the only well done and finished story is by ideasGuy called NeverFadeAway though he used Inspired Inventor. He vent first route and massed enough technology to take on anybody and wrote it well enough for it to be not boring with good amount of struggle and hurdles to overcome. Problem is most of big Z MC's not really very smart.
