Mountain Pass

A narrow, rocky path through towering mountains. Rockslides, bandit ambushes, and extreme weather pose constant threats.

 The Bridge Crossing

Description: A sturdy wooden bridge spans a rocky gorge, connecting two grassy cliffs. Challenges: Ambush by bandits or creatures, collapsing planks, and narrow combat space.

 Ruins

Crumbling stone walls and overgrown floors hide traps, undead guardians, and secrets.

Campsite

A small campsite with a fire pit in the middle of the forest.

Nighttime ambush by creatures, theft of supplies, and managing a surprise storm.

Forest Clearing

A serene clearing in a dense forest, with a small pond in the center. Hidden forest creatures and natural traps make this a deceptively peaceful locale.

 Bustling Marketplace

A crowded market with stalls and merchants. Pickpockets, undercover enemies, and limited combat space create chaos.

Cozy Tavern

A warm, lively tavern with a crackling fireplace, wooden tables, and a well-stocked bar.

Brawls with rowdy patrons, pickpockets, and undercover spies gathering information.

 Snowy Forest

A dense forest covered in snow. Freezing temperatures, hidden hazards, and ice creatures await.

 Desert Oasis

A lush patch of green in a vast desert. Sandstorms, dehydration, and desert creatures add to the peril.

 Abandoned Mine

Dark tunnels with rotting supports and eerie echoes. Beware of cave-ins, lurking monsters, and hidden chasms.

 Cursed Graveyard

A spooky graveyard with eerie fog. Undead rising from graves, cursed artifacts, and ghostly apparitions are frequent dangers.

 Underground Crypt

A damp, subterranean crypt filled with coffins and bones with an eerie atmosphere. Expect undead monsters, magical traps, and puzzles.

Mystery Chest: Maps of Many Things (Celestial) 7/19/2024 (Expired)

Claim your Mystery Chest before it vanishes into the arcane fog and shadows. Your next grand adventure awaits!

Mike Chinakos

Fantastic work, as always! Future additions would be excellent, and expanding the Bustling Marketplace would be a handy tool, too!

Epic Quest

Thank you so much Mike! Expanding The Bustling Marketplace is a great idea. Cheers!

Eduardo Tarilonte

Wow. You are the best. I love this idea as much as I love generic maps. Thank you for your amazing job! 👏🏻😍

Epic Quest

Thank you, Eduardo. I appreciate your kind words. I've been considering this idea for some time now, so I'm happy to hear you like it. Thanks again for the feedback. Cheers!

Eduardo Tarilonte

You are welcome! But please, keep coming your thematic maps. Those maps really make the difference from the others. I love to have an sceneraio with several connected maps, not a lot of individual ones. :-)

Epic Quest

Don't worry, my friend. Thematic map packs with interconnected areas that make sense together are what I love to create the most. Although the video says "to be continued" at the end, it will not be a monthly series that comes back-to-back."

Fendrel Drake

Really liking these! While the thematic monthly releases are really the crown jewel of Epic Quest, this adds *tremendous* value as well--especially the Bustling Marketplace (more city-related maps are always welcome), and the Mountain Pass (so few maps out there have multiple levels--I love that these have high and low areas for PCs/enemies, and I hope we see more maps with varied levels in the future)!

Epic Quest

Hey Fendrel! Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm happy you like this idea. I appreciate your comment. Also, I guess that's another point for the Bustling Marketplace (city-related) map pack. : ) Cheers, my friend!

John Corlett

Amazing change of tone - really good idea as travel is so important

Epic Quest

Thank you so much, John. Traveling and exploring new places is a fascinating part of the game. Especially in those places that look peaceful and then CHAOS!!! XD

NPAO Gaming

Terrific idea and beautifully executed, as always!

Rob Leonard

Yeah, like others have already said...such a great idea to do this. The maps are all very useful, and I'm happy you'll be doing more of these like this from time to time. From the number of comments, I think it's clear that people appreciate this. Keep up the great ideas and work...amazing stuff as always. :)

Epic Quest

Thank you so much, Rob! I appreciate your kind words and am happy to hear you like this idea. This kind of community feedback motivates me to continue creating and sharing more content for our epic adventures. Thanks again, my friend. Cheers!

EZ

I'm a complete sucker for this kind of content. Full blown adventures and locales are amazing but throwing up an animated map for the random roadside inn? Next level. It makes even the smallest encounters feel epic. I can't wait to use these. If at all possible, I would like to see them remain thematically generic so I can get more use. Compare something like: "Potions Shoppe" vs. "Haunted, Underwater, organic, Potions Shoppe." I just would like a shoppe. Actually, a pack of common shops would be divine so that I could recreate a town. Maybe with some different configurations so I can have the most variety with the least amount of work on your behalf.

Epic Quest

Hey EZ! Welcome to Epic Quest Battlemaps. Thank you for your feedback. I truly appreciate it. I like the "Potions Shoppe" example and idea, so stay tuned for more on that soon. =) Thanks again, Cheers!

Austin Gonzalez

Hi there! 2nd time supporting celestial level, and it is the best value for animated maps and just scenery in general to me on Patreon. I would love more of these packs.I run a giant homebrew world and these will fit in so well without having to worry about if its a crypt from another pack or adventure. Thanks again for the hard work!
