c o l o r. Wasn't completely sold on the color green for the lockers at first, but after some fiddling around it actually grew on me. Or maybe my eyes have just been staring at this GREEN ABYSS for so long that they now have stockholm syndrome. HHMMMM....

It's super neat to see like. The flat hard colors on the clothing before you go in and adjust them. Like that's so wild to me. You seem like some kind of arcane mage or something. Like Relm from FF6. Just drawing things and they pop to life somehow. I really admire the skill you have and I will never understand precisely how you manage to make these pictures ultimately pop so much, and seeing these steps in action will always be super neat to me. Also the joke is that it's a school and I've never seen school lockers with an actually pleasant color scheme. But. Then again, I went to the broken down welfare school, so.

I remember in middle school each grade had their own color-coded hallway. The worst one was the not-quite-pink-but-not-quite-orange hallway for 6th graders. Basically a salmon-y color. Salmon brick walls, salmon carpets, salmon lockers. Throw in that signature public school flare with chipped paint, stains and dents everywhere and you've got yourself a real fugly piece of architecture.

Oh yeah, it's all coming together... never had big lockers like that at my school, only small boxy ones, but those in the pic are eerily similar to the ones I had at a previous workplace...
