Seems like the chained Minori represents a less inhibited side of her personality; something she suppresses because it can get out of control. You can think of it as her literally holding herself back for fear of what she would do if she cut loose.

Yes, but is her mind already locked up by Banshee though? Is it Banshee chaining her up or is it herself chaining her up? That is the confusing part. I get it if she is talking to herself but it looks like she will never get out on her own mental power since Banshee is too strong and unless someone from the outside does something about it. If this is just her talking to herself, than she is not going to get out and only coming to terms with her self-restraint.

From an artist's standpoint: This depiction of Minori's mind has nothing to do with Banshee. Depicting one's repressed traits as something locked up somewhere in a dark basement simply seemed fitting. The long hair is also there so it's easier to follow which part of Minori is talking, as well as a callback to flashback Minori from chapter 5 who was indeed more fierce.

Enoran: haha^^ Mighty Oak: Well how do you know what she should and shouldn't be able to do? If it's that confusing, maybe waiting for this scene to get completed would be a good idea, so you can see the whole picture better. I mean, imagine someone would explain how to cook lasagna but you keep saying it's confusing every couple words down the ingredent list or so.
