Hell yeah Also now I can talk about it out loud: MOTHRAS BACK THE QUEEN IS HERE Godzilla was full ready to smack down on Kong before Mothra showed up. Then he's all "sorry my wife said I have to play nice" 😂

This movie was AMAZING from start to finish and had me glued to the screen the WHOLE time. I would always complain about them not showing Godzilla and Kong enough in these movies but they actually listened this time and I was not disappointed in the slightest!!! Movie was perfect all the way through, glad you enjoyed it JV! I will be watching along later 🙌🏾

Oh I didnt comment this earlier but HELL YEAH do Shin Godzilla. It's japanese, same as Minus One, and is directed by Hideki Anno - you saw his other work, Evangelion ;) Gojira is a force of terror in that one

JV, I have a few interesting facts about the MonsterVerse: In King of the Monsters, it’s stated by the director that Mothra has a unique ability in the MonsterVerse known as reincarnation, so that’s why she returned in New Empire, also if she dies like she did in the last movie, she would’ve laid an egg prior to battle and all her memories, past and present would transfer to the newly hatched Mothra and it’s because of this ability to reincarnate that overtime, Mothra has lost her fear of death. In this film, it’s mentioned in the official novelization that Suko is actually the child of Skar King; Skar King forbid the other male great apes to mate with the females, so he had access to all the females. As for the ape Skar King kicked into the lava, more than likely he was someone other than his mother that looked after and cared for Suko as Skar King didn’t care. Also, Godzilla’s new evolved form is actually based off/inspired by Goku’s Kaioken form, he evolved so he could store more energy, 20 times as much energy at a time before having to recharge because in both King of the Monsters and this film, Godzilla’s body could only handle a certain amount of radiation before getting close to having a nuclear meltdown, he also absorbed some of Titanus Tiamat’s DNA, this information comes from the official novelization of the film.
