I'm so glad you decided to watch this, it's one of my favourites. The animation was gorgeous and a lot was spent on it. Unfortunately this film doesn't get the attention it deserved due to lacklustre box office sales. From what I'm aware the studios had alot to do with it by not backing it properly and the marketing not being quite right. It's such a shame because this is a film worthy of attention and praise, it touches everyone who watches it as we all have been raised with at least one of these fairytales and we all held that belief at one time, and I think we try as adults to get those key core fundamentals that we found so easy as kids back such as wonder, hope, and fun.

I also was not aware of this movie, and am so glad it was recommended to you - what gorgeous animation!! I love anything fantasy/sci-fi w copious amounts of mythological lore, so this was right up my alley. Honestly surprised I've missed it somehow - I was in grad school for art when it came out, and our shuttle busses had screens regularly showing current movies with high focus on special effects and animation. Unfortunate, but it means I got to fully appreciate it here with your watch! I do hope you're able to find Dragon Hunters that I mentioned in your request post - it's definitely in line with this and everything else you've been picking up here recently.

The snowman character you were thinking of is FROSTY The Snowman, not Jack Frost. Frosty is the snowman that came to life, Jack Fost is the one nipping at your nose 😁
