We tried to put the microphone in a different location with the new set up and it did not go over well. The show's louder than it should be. We'll fix that in the next episode

Dave in this year isn't actually 15 (or at least he shouldn't be because that makes no sense and also would make their relationship fucking weird in s1 and no. that's not allowed. they're too perfect), i'm p sure the actor they cast just looks super young lmao According to s1 Dave he was 29 in 1968 so he'd be like.. 23-ish. And yeah thankfully hardware isn't his dream job and he's just helping his uncle out - bc he really doesn't seem great at working there. As for Ben warning Klaus.. listen. Ben this season is one (1) whole little bitch. He's just pissed that Klaus didn't stay with the cult so Ben could stare at his crush that he can't ever do anything about because he's fucking dead. Also at this point they really are just super sick of each other - i mean it's been 17 years since Ben died and he's been with Klaus that whole time. And Klaus never gets peace or privacy so.. it's not surprising there are a lot of issues coming up. Yeah Klaus absolutely did NOT go about trying to save Dave in a way that was smart but: 1. He was definitely winging the whole thing. There was no planning involved anywhere 2. He was desperate already for this all to work so Dave wouldn't die and, as it became clear that he was definitely failing, he just got super desperate. Desperation = rambling = saying shit you probably shouldn't. But also i feel like things would have gone better if Uncle Brian hadn't been there. Like Klaus maybe could've gotten somewhere with changing Dave's mind, especially since his thoughts on the military at this point weren't entirely his own. Thanks @ his shitty family. But even if he couldn't, at least he wouldn't have been punched. On that topic because i literally cannot shut up - while Klaus didn't go about things great his heart was entirely in the right place (if dave doesn't enlist then he and klaus never meet. and if dave goes to war and dies in this timeline it's not like klaus can summon him like in s1. dave would have no idea who he is. so klaus would literally lose any chance of even talking to dave again - in any timeline, depending on how fucked up they've made 2019 now of course. that's fucking shitty. but he's ready to face that if it means dave lives. that shit is not selfish, idc what bentacles says) and he didn't deserve what happened in that diner. And i really hate people acting like "well what did he expect?". Nobody expects to get punched in general, let alone by someone they love - especially when it's an action so out of character. The only person to blame for that bullshit is Uncle Brian. Stupidass homophobe that he is. The thing about Harlan running from his house directly to the lake isn't all that weird. Kids with autism tend to be drawn to bodies of water, fun fact. But his running speed really was kind of fucking impossible. It's kinda like the writers really wanted to force that scene to work without trying to make it make sense. Vanya has too much power, it's ridiculous, but there is a theory about the weird light transfer thing when she was trying to save Harlan: that it's something all of the Hargreeves siblings can do because it looks like that stuff Reginald released from a jar in the s1 finale and it could be the source of their powers or have something to do with it. Idk how likely that actually is but i think it's interesting and i also really don't want her to have yet another power out of nowhere lmao The scene with Elliot and Luther?? God-tier. That's just it. No other scene this season compares, it's perfect. Nitrous party!
