New pledge tiers coming soon! (Patreon)

Heyo folks!

I'm honestly blown away by the support I've received this past month. Venturing into this Patreon thing is a bit intimidating - its a lot of foreign territory on how I need to manage my time. But I'm super eager to continue making more content you all will enjoy! 

It was faster than anticipated, but we've basically reached the second goal to get more involved pledge tiers! I was...admittedly hoping for just a little more time getting accustomed to Patreon, but I think I'll be able to manage. I'll be putting off publicly opening for slavestreams until April, to give myself another month to get comfortable with this instead. My apologies to those looking forward to them! I want to make sure everything is running smoothly before I dive into something that demands quite a bit of time. 

So, what's the new content I have planned?

-First and foremost, the next time I open, there will be two additional commission slots! These commission slots will be exclusive to patrons pledged $10 and higher. There will be a separate commission form where said patrons can submit their requests. One slot is first come first serve, the other is my pick. However, there is no restrictions on submitting a form both in the normal form AND in the patron exclusive form, so I encourage you to do both! Gives you more chances to get a commission. I have no plans right now to add more patron exclusive slots than that, but we'll see how things turn out in the future.

-I'm introducing 3 new tiers - the Acolyte, Hierophant, and Enthralled. These tiers will have a limited amount of slots - but they are quite expensive compared to the more casual Tip Jar tiers ($70, $130, and $250!). The reason being is that I plan to offer monthly commissions for them! Now, the big logistical problem I kept running into was the timing factor: "What if someone pledged to one of these tiers at a really awkward time, and I wasn't able to finish something for them in time?", among similar problems. But then, a patron's question about continued pledges sparked my inspiration! I'm gonna utilize a new cryptocurren- er, uh, token system! They're called Nommztokens and Streamtokens, for simplicity's sake.

The Acolyte and Hierophant tiers give 1 and 2 Nommztokens respectively each month. I'll keep track of how many folks have! Now, each month I'll take on a bunch of simple commissions from these tiers alongside my streams and slots (amount can vary). They'd be nothing much more complex than what you'd get at a base cost for my current commission slots - up to two characters, or maybe an implied background, or maybe a simple insert. These are to be quick little things that can be done in free time that won't take very long - essentially, what Bonus Commissions were supposed to be; this is somewhat of a spiritual successor to that concept. If you're not sure a certain idea would qualify, contact me to ask! 1 Nommztoken can be cashed in for a sketch, and 2 Nommztokens can be cashed in for a shaded sketch (among other things, such as a simple 1 character speedpaint, or a couple flat colored full body shots). You can save them up for a series, or if you're in the Acolyte tier you can save up two months and get a shaded piece. The choice is up to you, just gimme a poke! This way, folks who pledge at the end of a month or something can still get use out of their pledge for that month, and it gives you all a degree of flexibility and control on how you use it.

The Enthralled tier is roughly the same, but with one slight difference - it gives a Streamtoken, which is worth a 6 hour slavestream. These can be cashed in on any month I'm available, even if I'm not doing public slavestreams that month. Again, I'm using this token system to avoid the problem of awkward pledge timing - if one pledges after my time is already all booked up, there's little I can do that month! But this way, I can carry it over to the next month, if they so choose. They can wait to nab a bunch of stream slots in a month that is most convenient for them, if they want!

Now, this might seem like a lot - and it is! Especially since my goal with Patreon was to free up more time. Well, for now, all three of these tiers will only have two available slots. I don't currently have any plans to expand that until several months of experimenting with this and refining the process has occurred; then, I might see if its feasible to add more. Moreover, I'll be a bit more transparent with my work scheduling - it will change slightly!

Currently, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday are my work days where I stream, from 7pm - 2am EST. My plan is to extend that to Saturday, but in exchange, have Monday and Saturday as mostly Patreon-focused days. Public slavestreams will only be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. If I'm not doing slavestreams, then those days will be for commission work. Mondays and Saturdays will be for slot commissions, Patron Bonus Comms and personal work, and Mondays will be available for Patron Slavestreams as well. This will ensure I not only have some specific time to work on work for my patrons, but also some flexibility in case I need day off or a late day. I know this isn't terribly important to you all, but I feel like its important to be transparent about the slight change in slavestream availability, and how the time is going to be used to make more stuff for y'all.

So, with all that said and done, I plan on opening these new tiers when I get back from a convention this weekend! I don't have a set time in mind, but ideally around 7pm EST on Tuesday, March 3rd.
