"Kiss Kiss. Bang Bang" won?!? Happy Day! Thanks to all who voted.

Topher 😃

Sorry Ana, I try to have your back when things go wrong and I wondered why the voting count was so low and it just didn't occur to me that it was an error. Regardless I think it worked out wonderfully we finally got to see this film which I actually watched when it was originally on the voting rolls- but that was over a year ago and I got to enjoy it all over again because of my foggy brain. I'm glad Eric was so persistent.

Rush Hour?!?

LOL; hey, a win's a win baby, I'll take it. I just think it's such a damn funny movie; "8? 8?!? Who taught you math?!?" His narrating is great. Really great use of cuts, like when RDJ says "no, that little experiment will end in tears my friend; just walk away" then it cuts to RDJ getting his ass beat. Or of course when they're about to finally consummate but then it cuts to after she told him she had sex with his friend. (Choke Chutney? No idea how to spell that weird-ass name.) Also, the pink-haired lady was Shannyn Sossamon (sp?) from "A Knight's Tale", a movie I've recommended a few times. It's not quite in my top tier but it's just damn fun, like The Mummy or Pirates of the Caribbean: just a good time.

AH! Speaking of "really fun movies" AND ALSO speaking of Chris Tucker (Rush Hour): Fifth Element. That may have to be added to my list... although I'm thinking maybe I want to hit a few ground-breaking movies: have you seen "Fight Club" "Se7en" or "The Matrix"? (Although my #1 choice remains "Walk Hard". I'm flabbergasted that it can't get more support. Of my top tier of movies, we've done The Princess Bride, The Big Lebowski, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Lucky Number Slevin, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang... the only other two are Walk Hard and Batman '89, and I won't be pushing for Batman '89... I love it, everything about it hits me perfectly, but it's the one in my top tier that I don't think will work for everybody nearly as well as it does for me.)

Eric

I'm not planning on recommending them, purely for my own edification: have you seen The Matrix 2, 3, and/or 4? ALSO: I called out Shannyn Sossamon in KKBB but I forgot to point out: Harlan Dexter was played by Corbin Bernson, the dad in Psych. (Bernsen?)

Don't forget you saw RDJ in Tropic Thunder. Anyway, so glad this won. A favorite of mine.
