There are weird, overzealous people who are fans of this tv show. Despite that, "X-Men 97" is a phenomenal example of re-introducing the modern audience to great themes covered in a children's TV show thirty years ago.

There's some weird ubernerd gatekeeping going on with this show. Apparently, if you didn't watch every episode of the OG as it aired, you can't be a true X-Men fan and so on and so forth. It reminds me of gatekeeping SW fans.
