Carmy could have handled the situation better but Marcus and Syd are at fault. I love this show but never understood why they took 0 responsibility and blamed it all on Carmy.

I mean the marcus thing was a weak part of last ep too. The guy literally heard carmy yelling in the kitchen all ep and he somehow didn’t read the temperature and asked him to sample a cake in the middle of all that? It felt so forced. They are both at fault but ultimately carmy is more at fault. It’s not like they hit a customer so i can see his reaction being too crazy and that type of energy can affect all of the workers more negatively long term. But i agree witb you they don’t have 0 blame.

I've seen similar things happen in real life in kitchens people get laser focused on one thing they aren't in tune with the rest of the kitchen at all and things like this happen, someone starts talking to anyone and everyone how they've cooked a perfect whatever and it's like "dude no-one cares do you not see what's going on here? Just get back to your station holy fuck" then again Marcus' character is one who's suppose to be a well trained and experienced cook so idk it is a bit contrived

Erin trying to shave Michael and Andy trying to make Deangelo laugh are so funny to me. Poor Andy was reduced to a mess in one scene haha. I see where Pat's coming from about the office sycophanting to Deangelo. A little bit is ok but they were all doing it way too much.

Something I'm not sure you caught in Frieren. Kraft said that Frieren is "young", and she didn't refute it. To me that implies they at least can tell how old they are and that Kraft is likely several centuries older than Frieren.

Sunday Rundown - The Office It is cringe how they are sucking up to Deangelo. However.. The only manager they've known was Michael. So, they're now getting a 2nd chance at a 1st impression for the new manager. They think if maybe they sucked up to Michael early on, laughed at his jokes, been friend with him, etc. Then they would be able to reap the benefits and take advantage. Michael is all they've ever known as a boss.. And of course Deangelo isn't Michael, so it may not be as well received 😆
