#SundayRundown Bad Batch Yup, Gregor from Clone Wars and Rebels. Found by the droid squad in the former, got caught in an explosion. Was a crazy old man in the latter who died in the finale battle. “It was an honor to fight with you for something that we chose to believe in.” ✊😔 We still don’t have the story of how he came back to the Republic •P.S Wolffe was the one with the cybernetic eye TK is an imperial designation that was in New Hope. It’s been getting used more frequently on screen for recent stuff. It’s never been said if it stands for anything in either canon or Legends. It could just be a random meaningless designation code. Some think it stands for Trooper Kore/Korps, based on the real life nazi stormtroopers having the abbreviations of SA and SS.

Normies please incorporate a Charlie and Mac-like stare down in your next skit. "The Gang Dines Out" is a really good bottle episode and flips the script on that type of storytelling. Instead of an episode where we see the entire group interact with each other, everyone was separate except for the pairs that have toxic relationships with one another. Nobody noticing Dee until the end was damn hilarious.

#SundayRundown IASIP I totally forgot this episode was in this season. This is my second favorite episode of IASIP after the Gang Gets Analyzed. Forgot the waiter appears earlier in the series. I love how the series shows you how much negative influence Frank has over them.😂🤣 All because he got into one little fight in Philadelphia PA. But unlike Will Smith he got the 'looney bin' instead of Bel Air. Hurt people generally hurt other people.😥 Poor waiter probably has minimal Obamacare coverage and those 2015 premiums (yikes) on a waiter's salary and now a bad back.🤔🤨 Season 8 is a banger. These people are trash. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I wonder if Anne Archer regrets walking away from the role of Barbara Reynolds. They said they had a lot of stuff with the entire Reynolds family but Anne was a Hollywood star. I can understand if you feel like you can't go below a certain amount for a contract. Danny Devito always took risk in his career. The fact he stuck with these guys is admirable for a star of his position at the time. I am glad they appreciate him doing so. And it obviously paid off for all of them.

I don't know how Anne Archer felt about it, but I know the guys mentioned during the podcast that they regret killing her off so early in the show. I think they would've loved it if she stayed longer.

#SundayRundown Bad Batch. I appreciate you guys' kind words from the previous Rundown. Interesting thing with order 66 in the canon in comparison to the EU. Did you guys know that in the EU, there were no chips in the Clones’ heads. Instead, the Clone troopers willingly executed Order 66 and the Jedi. If you ever wanted to know more about the Republic Commandos, you should check out the “Republic Commando” series by Karen Traviss, consisting of “Hard Contact” (2004), “Triple Zero” (06), “True Colors” (07), and “Order 66” (08). I have not read the books myself, but I have heard they are fantastic. You guys made my day with your comments of the Expanded Universe. I started reading these books and comics last year, and they have been a journey. I would like to clarify some things in my previous comment. First thing, Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn Trilogy, which consists of “Heir to the Empire” (1991), “Dark Force Rising” (92), and “The Last Command” (93), truly kickstarted the EU, essentially resurrecting Star Wars back to life after 4 years of Star Wars being essentially dead (1986-91). This trilogy is also known by fans as the Original Sequel Trilogy. The Thrawn trilogy was Thrawn’s first debut, with him threatening the stability of the New Republic along with having to face Luke, Han, Leia, Lando, Chewie, Threepio, and Artoo. As you continue Bad Batch, you will see even more influence from Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn Trilogy. “Heir to the Empire” was also the debut of a character I mentioned the last time, Mara Jade, who later goes on to be Mara Jade Skywalker: Luke’s wife, fellow Jedi Master, and enemy turned lover. Fun fact, the level of love from the fanbase that Mara received are similar to Ahsoka’s. Really strong love. Feel free to look up what she looks like. For Rana, to answer your previous question, Lucasfilm has always had input on Star Wars books, comics, and video games. Lucasfilm works with the author for things like continuity and rules, but the author is allowed to craft the story they want, for the most part. As for who these authors I mentioned last time are, Timothy Zahn and John Jackson Miller are some of the most beloved Star Wars authors of all time. Timothy Zahn is so acclaimed that Dave Filoni had Zahn as a consulting producer on “Ahsoka”, specifically for for Thrawn’s portrayal. Miller also wrote the canon novel, “A New Dawn”, which shows how Kanan and Hera first met. Another example is acclaimed EU author, Drew Karpyshyn. For fans of video games, he is known as the writer behind the stories for “Mass Effect”, “Mass Effect 2”, “Knights of the Old Republic”, “The Old Republic”, and “Baldur's Gate 2”. If you ever wanted to know how the Rule of Two was created, read Karpyshyn’s Darth Bane trilogy. Bane was in Clone Wars as the vision Yoda saw on Moraband (and voiced by Mark Hamill). Thought you would also like to know that Moraband was actually originally called Korriban in the EU. Then they changed it for the Clone Wars tv show. For Suraj, I know you love Andor. If you want books that just focus on the secondary characters of the Star Wars universe like Wedge Antilles, you’ve got to check out the Rogue and Wraith Squadron books by Michael A. Stackpole and Aaron Allston (RIP). I am currently reading through Stackpole’s Rogue Squadron books and they are great and will soon check out Allston’s books. Good space battles, tension, and fantastic characters. I feel like it’s asking a lot, but I would love to see you guys discuss EU books. It is just cool to see new Star Wars fans discover new things. My dad has been on a similar journey for the past year. He only ever saw the movies, and when Ahsoka was coming out and was asking me about details, I just said to watch the animated shows. Never in my life would I ever thought he would do it, but he watched Clone Wars, Rebels, and Bad Batch and enjoyed them all. He also has read four of Timothy Zahn’s EU books and has loved them. One last question I do have for y’all. Whenever you guys finish The Bad Batch, would it be too much to ask for a reaction to Genndy Tartakovsky’s Star Wars: Clone Wars from 2003 even though its Expanded Universe? It’s short, the visual storytelling is amazing, and if you love Samurai Jack, you will love it. Thanks and I appreciate the Sunday Rundown for you guy’s feedback. Feel free to ask for anything like recommendations or just fun facts.

This episode of Sunny is a masterpiece. Not a single wasted minute. Each line is either a joke or sets up a later interaction the gang will have with the Waiter or indirectly with eachother. And the Italian music as the score is the cherry on top

Yeah. I heard that episode. That's why I always was curious about her reaction to series going on for so long. I remember when FX announced that Danny Devitio and Anne Archer were joining the series for season 2. It was huge news and gets for such a floundering series. They literally saved the show from cancellation. I remember late night shows and Howard Stern were making fun of them. "Like what are you big stars doing?" Critics had the show cancelled after season one. Critics really whiffed bad on this show in 05. Though it looks like the Academy has been trying to make amends with the cast and producers.

TK standing for Trooper Korps makes a lot of sense.
