NOTE: Due to feedback we got from The Sunday Rundown and other comments, the posting schedule of the DCAMU movies will be slightly changed, so there's at least one video a week. This week, the Justice League: Throne of Atlantis Uncut is posted and next week, the edited version will be posted. In the comic that this was based off of, also called "Throne of Atlantis" Orm/Aquaman's brother is a lot more sympathetic and well written. The Throne of Atlantis comic only came out 3 years before this movie. Orm isn't evil like he's depicted here. The real villain manipulates both sides, the twist at the end of the comic is really good. Kind of bummed that the movie didn't follow that plot.

#SundayRundown Cyborg was always a Titan. The original Justice League was Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash (Barry Allen), Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter. New 52 (which started in 2011) introduced Cyborg as an original Leaguer after Flashpoint reset the DC Universe. Fans were pissed because they felt like it erased his history with the Titans, people that he had grown and developed with over decades. And they took away Martian Manhunter as an original Leaguer, which fans weren’t pleased with either. So this is why Cyborg wasn’t in the Justice League in the early 2000s cartoons. He’s always been associated with the Titans and it would be considered weird to put him on the Justice League back then. Virtually no one would ever think to do that.

#sundayrundown Cyborg has always been a Teen Titan, since his inception in the 80’s, he’s particularly a member of the second and most famous incarnation of the titans, which is the New Teen Titans (Cyborg, Raven, Starfire, Beastboy) when the OG Titans got older. Cyborg became a Justice League member in the comics recently, 2011 when the The New 52 was a full reset in continuity from the past where characters origins were reimagined or tweaked for the 21 century. in the story of the comics it’s all a result from Flashpoint which is what the movie y’all watched is directly based from. it reset the comics and the movies which is why the league met each other the first time in War. these DCAU movies are almost taken directly from the new 52 comics in multiple way from plotlines to character aesthetic. and to clarify surajs comment on marvel, the majority of the OG MCU Avengers were actually founding Avengers jn the comics. Iron-Man, Hulk, Thor, Antman and the Wasp, Captain America was thawed and joined a few issues later. Hawkeye, Scarltett Witch and Quicksilver were the next to join soon after

#Sunday Rundown DCAMU oh boy man seaman really seems to be their weak spot, whenever he comes up the stories and movies always seem to be a bit shaky dc just can’t seem to figure out what to do with him. But don’t worry the movies are nothing but up from here.

Yeah it’s slightly different cause Aquamans a founding JL member in the New 52, whereas in this they have to introduce him and his world all in one movie.

#sundayrundown I like this movie a lot, still wish Arthur put more energy into his "Outrageous!" like when he's voiced by DiMaggio and Phil Lamar. Speaking of Superman and underwater women, he canonically lost his virginity to a mermaid he went to college with name Lori Lemaris. She was in Young Justice Also Cyborg benefited from the New 52 making him a leaguer because the Titans are the equivalent of people who peaked in high-school and repeat the same three storied. Except Wally West and Roy Harper but that's because the cartoon excluded them meaning they wouldn't be cursed by nostalgia
