#SundayRundown Bleach This along with the next 2 episodes, is what made me realize this adaptation was surpassing the manga, as it was nothing short of a masterpiece and reminded me of why I love 🔥BLEACH🔥 The Straight to the point action, OST Soundtrack, mature characterization, backstory, art style/aesthetic/atmosphere and even the best possible cliffhanger. Brace yourselves for the 🔥 of next episode and Yhwach’s name it’s pronounced “You-Ha Ba-Ha” but it can also be sad as “Yu-Ha-Bach” Yhwach's name is a variation of Yhwh, the Hebrew name of the 'God' from the Old Testament: Quincy Jesus. Driscoll the “O” really got Schrift changed from the Overkill to Overcooked 😂 Now keep in mind YAMA-GOAT-O is only fighting with 1 hand, just like Kenpachi without Kendo as his power is literally cut in half since their Reiatsu/spiritual pressure comes from both of a soul reapers wrists like Kisuke said in Ep 300 of OG Bleach. Sidenote to the Normies: Last Episode was overall series number 370, while this one is 371.

Bleach #SundayRundown So there's actually a blu ray clip of Kenpachi ripping that Sternritters throat out. Essentially their power, the 'question' designates something to be removed from the battle, or more specifically "can harm their opponents by objecting to their existence and actions. They can make an objection to something, and the opponent is penalized if they fail to overcome that objection, with the opponent being forced to respond." They chose Kenpachi's blood lust. Unfortunately, Kenny couldn't even hear their ranting because the previous sternritter he fought had made him temporarily deaf. So their power would have had no effect, as they were gonna activate it, Kenny just ripped their throat out because they kept on yapping and making his ears ring. They had a broken ability but couldn't utilise it. Also, I couldn't stop laughing when Navi was smiling at the end while it was clear that Kenpachi was soundly defeated. As Yuha Bach stated, he is one of the special war threats, along with Ichigo. I'll leave you guys to speculate who the rest might be. Bleach TYBW Keyword Page 1 EPISODE 5: WRATH AS A LIGHTNING Garganta (Black Throat) "This hole connects Hueco Mundo to the world of the living. It is usually closed as it’s part of an endless primordial void, but it opens when Hollows and Arrancars travel between both worlds. There are no paths. Instead, turbulent flurries of spirit particles whirl through the space. One can only advance by amassing the spirit particles to create a temporary foothold pathway. Upon receiving the orders from Soul Society in preparation for the battle against against Aizen, Kisuke Urahara was able to develop a device that opens the Garganta with the following incantation: "Here in my right hand the stone that connects the worlds, in my left hand the blade that binds existence; the shepherd with black hair; the chair of the noose; I strike the ibis when the clouds gather." He is also able to stabilise and regulate the Garganta. Mayuri Kurotsuchi analysed the structure of the Garganta by utilising Szayelaporro's research data in Hueco Mundo, and was then able to also develop a device that can open, adjust and stabilize the Garganta with greater precision, made possible with a similar following incantation "The blade that binds existence in my hand, the black-haired shepherd, the chair that binds his neck, the clouds come and I strike the chicken." connecting Hueco Mundo to Soul Society." Keyword Page 2 Episode 5 Genjijuku (Genryu) "This is an original private school established by Yamamoto Shigekuni, founder of the "Gen" (denoting a substance or plant that produces something) school of swordsmanship. Back then, Yamamoto Shigekuni had a scar resembling the "ei" character on his forehead, thus he was often referred to as Eijisai, and as a result Yamamoto decided to call himself Genryūsai. This pseudonym spread far and wide in Soul Society as he continued to establish his reputation as a skilled swordsman. Yamamoto Shigekuni assumed the role of head instructor at the Genzijuku; it was believed that his teaching experience during which led to the establishment of the Soul Reaper's educational institution, the Integrated Soul Reaper Academy (now known as Shinōreijutsuin “Spiritual Arts”  Academy). [You may have seen it romanised as "Genjijuku" elsewhere. The じ character is romanised as "ji" in the Hepburn system. Even though Hepburn is the most popular romanisation system, Japan prefers the Kunrei-shiki romanisation, thus [Genzijuku]”.

Oh man, i know they wont do a double but 6 and 7 go great together.

iman

As do eps 11 and 12, hoping they do a double drop for them

Kwame Afrifa Obeng-Ofori

Will we get episode 6 today I heard you saying we can get it on the thenormies.com

Conflictor

As great as that would be, the only ones they really need to do double is 12 + 13, 25 + 26, and 39 + 40 since those episodes aired together.

Mugen Shiratori

Reminder! We have NOT seen Yamaji's Bankai yet! Also it is Yuha Baha.

ispeckz--

They read my comment about what episodes the couch should be full on but I really hope they double drop 6&7. Me personally I think episode 7 is my favorite episode of TYBW.

#Sunday Rundown Bleach Just so you know that was not yamamoto's bankai when he fought aizen (you said it was in the post dicussion but he never said bankai back then). We still have not seen his bankai or shunsui's bankai either (shunsui was so strong he beat the strongest espada while barely using shikai).

Kail Andrews

#SundayRundown Bleach As you could see, many of the Sternriters have letters from the alphabet asigned to them, and the it has 26 in total. A cool thing you could do is make a list with all the letters, cross out the ones already revealed and make prediction on what could they mean and powers posses. Also I put it in my previous post but certain Bleach characters are typecast, Byakuya only fights opponents who can manipulate minds or emotions; Shunsui enemies with guns and Kenpachi only characters who proclaim to be the strongest (ex, Nnoitora, Yammy, Time tells no lies)

Nabeshin

#SundayRundown #BLEACH Sasakibe is a prime example of Kubo regretting that he couldn't do everything he wanted to do in the OG manga. This even got acknowledged in the first anime; which unfortunately y'all weren't able to see, 'cause Hulu's a bastard and won't show the omake (post-credit scenes). Across the whole series, there are several omake that acknowledge Sasakibe...by having the other characters forget he exists. Either that, or one character will go "Where is lieutenant Sasakibe?" and another will respond "Oh yeah! That guy!...Wait. Does he even fight?" There's a 3-part omake where Renji and Ishida try to help Sasakibe become relevant. Especially after this episode, you guys NEED to watch 'em. Here they are: PART 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fr5aWdWNINU&list=PLC_gdBV61-JkkiSnbLw4U_0WNLArHykCT&index=209 PART 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkqddl5G5-U&list=PLC_gdBV61-JkkiSnbLw4U_0WNLArHykCT&index=210 PART 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7YSMWuvyh8&list=PLC_gdBV61-JkkiSnbLw4U_0WNLArHykCT&index=211 --- On a different topic, HOW DO YOU GUYS THINK KIRA IS ALIVE?! HE WAS LITERALLY THE FIRST TO DIE! 😂😂😂😂😭 --- On still another topic, I prefer the dub in most anime, so you KNOW I don't say this lightly: They really dropped the ball with Äs Nödt. Elijah Ungvary does a fine job, but it's nothing special. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, on the other hand, puts some MF'n SAUCE on that thang! --- EDIT: One more thing. Yhwach is actually derived from Yiddish. NCHammer23 has a great short on how it "should" be pronounced: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XHqCata0g2A

Its sad they didnt see the omakes. The best one explains why Hiyori calls Shinji "Baldy"

Anderson Lake(The Bleach)

#SundayRundown Bleach (Bit of a long comment) Here’s some interesting stuff if you don’t already know - Sasakibe’s Zanpakuto is a rapier and is called "Gonryomaru" which translates to “Stern Spirit” or “Solemn Spirit” and the release phrase is “Pierce” or “Bite”. His Bankai is called "Koko Gonryo Rikyu" which translates to “Yellow-Glittering Royal Villa” or “Golden Lightning Palace”. It was one of the few Bankai’s that is able to affect the weather. A little extra stuff that you may or may not have been told - Ichigo’s Zanpakuto "Zangetsu" translates to “Slaying Moon”, Getsuga Tensho translates to “Moon Fang Heaven-Piercer” or “Piercer of Heaven”. His Bankai "Tensa Zangetsu" translates to “Heaven Chain Slaying Moon” Gin's Zanpakuto is called "Shinso" and translates to “God Spear” or “Sacred Spear” and the release phrase is “Shoot to Kill”. His Bankai is "Kamishini no Yari" and translates to “God-Killing Spear” which foreshadows him trying to kill Aizen who was trying to reach godhood. Here's some stuff on the Sternritter that Kenpachi killed since they’re dead - The first one he killed is Jerome Guizbatt Sternritter “R” “The Roar”, his power is shown and self explanatory and the second guy is Berenice Gabrielli Sternritter “Q” “The Question” his power is basically he can object to something and if an opponent fails to overcome the objection they get penalized, it’s a bit convoluted(Basically his power is yapping.). He was “Questioning” Zaraki’s murderous intent, but what's funny is that “The Roar” busted Zaraki’s eardrums so he couldn’t even hear “The Question” so it didn’t affect him and even if he did Zaraki ripped out his throat before he could even finish “The Question”.

@ispeckz-- The couch should be full on every episode of TYBW.

#SundayRundown #Bleach I dont think you can see it, but Byakuya actually lost his left hand due to the hailstorm from Senbonzakura Kageyoshi (Bankai Name) A bankai (Final Release) is about 5 to 10 times more powerful than a Shikai (Initial Release). Example Senbonzakura goes from 1 blade to 1000 petals whilst his bankai ups the quantity by a lot! About 1,000,000 petals that can form 1,000 swords when performing Senkei This generally means a bankai is needed to counter another bankai, hence As Nodt's relentless attack on Byakuya to force Renji into performing Bankai as to attempt to counter Senbonzakura Kageyoshi, which would lead to its theft, but Mask D Masculine just planted his feet in Renji's face and that was that. Edit: The Captains who lost their Bankai can still Shikai, but the power difference between their own Shikai and Bankai is significant if the opponent can use it against you

Charlie

Guys, i know it looks intimidating😭 but the pronunciation of “Yhwach” is only 4 syllables: Yu-Ha-Ba-Ha.

Brian

Yuhabitch

Brian

can we get you reacting to the japanese dubbed too PLEASE

MemoryLeaker

Hopefully Rana is back for episode 7

MarcusDiggler

Say what ya want but the Quincy’s got that shit on boyyyy

Muhammad Affan

Let's go. Yamamoto vs Yhwach next week

Adam Vialpando

It's crazy how they broke down two of the strongest and most popular characters in Bleach. Byakuya was always so cool and collected no matter what. Even against Tsukishima and Ichigo, the two times he was closest to death, he still remained relatively calm. And against As Nodt he had a complete breakdown. The sight of him screaming in fear and swinging wildly with no technique speaks volumes. And Kenpachi, the man that was the epitome of strength. Who overwhelmed everyone with raw power and never felt in danger. And he gets wrecked off-screen. He got the fodder treatment. This episode truly sets the standard for the arc.

#Sunday Rundown - Bleach Now that you heard how Yhwach’s name is pronounced, I want to show how people have pronounced his name due to the different spellings over the years: Buckbeard - Chapter 484 which is titled, “The Buckbeard” is where he made his debut but we didn’t learn his name until Yamamoto first said it to him in the manga so they temporarily called him Buckbeard like a pirate. Juha Bach - Pirated websites translated his name to Juha Bach back then which led to pronunciations such as JOO-HA BAAK and JOO-HA BATCH For that reason some people think his name is Yhwach Bach, but it’s just Yhwach And finally the correct spelling, Yhwach which made people say YA-WATCH, YA-WAK, and there’s one reactor who even calls him EWOK, like the creature from Star Wars Finally there’s the correct pronunciation of Yhwach. (YU-HA BA-HA) Manga readers called him YUHA for short back then so feel free to do so too.

Adan Guzman

#Sunday Rundown - Bleach Kenpachi proved to be a Special War Threat by killing off 3 Sternritters like that when the other captains are struggling. Having no bankai to take truly pays off. Kenpachi proved to be a monster killing off 3 Sternritters like that. Having no bankai to take truly pays off. The 3 are: Sternritter R - The Roar Jerome Guizbatt Sternritter Q - The Question - Berenice Gabrielli Sternritter Y - The Yourself - Lloyd Lloyd His big mistake however, was trying to take on Yhwach while not being the main character or Yamamoto.

Gremmy Thoumeaux

#SundayRundown: Bleach Yamamoto saved Hisagi who’s the main character of CFYOW as well as Kenpachi who’s a huge asset to the Soul Society so you can imagine how much of a difference he made there. I like to imagine Yamamoto telling Hisagi, “Look at me. I’m going to have the best animated fight of this show now.” Btw, Yoruichi actually does have a Zanpakuto as seen in her flashback with Kisuke but she never uses it for some reason.

Gremmy Thoumeaux

#SundayRundown: Bleach Now you’ve seen what the letters for the Sternritter truly mean. They stand for what their abilites are. So far you’ve seen 5 confirmed letters: Quilge Opie- J- The Jail Berenice Gabrielli- Q -The Question Jerome Guizbatt- R - The Roar Driscoll Berci - O - The Overkill Lloyd Lloyd - Y - The Yourself Seeing what happened to Byakuya, it’s not hard to imagine what As Nodt’s “F” stands for.

Castiel_01x

Saw the previous Sunday Rundown and Marketa wants to watch TYBW? I recommend reading the Bleach manga until TYBW and then watching the anime. The only thing she'll miss out on is the legendary soundtrack which is worth the trade off IMO as the manga is miles better than the anime.

Kayso

As Nodt voice in sub is much scarier and superior, coming from the biggest dub lover lmao. His VA was okay I guess but idk it was missing something. Byakuya got done dirty though. Getting fucked up by your own power is insane. Kenny still showing his black air force energy, taking throats like it's nothing and Yamagoato about to spaz next episode

Nabeshin

Thing is, THAT's not even the "correct" pronunciation. It's what the Japanese say, and therefore it's what the English dub says, but it's based on a Yiddish word that's meant to be impossible to pronounce in the first place. The closest way to get to it actually being a word in that language would be "Yukha-buh".

Kayso

Yeah we definitely see eye to eye on the As Nodt thing. As another dub lover I barely if even praise the sub but when I do I have no problem with it. As Nodt in the sub was way better and just scarier. For the dub when I first heard his voice I said okay cool but as it went on it got lackluster

Ginzo

Oh, they finally made it to TYBW? I stopped watching the reactions after the save Rukia arc. I guess it's time to start watching the reactions again. TYBW is classic Bleach. Terrible writing and all. However, I can't deny how epic it is. I absolutely hated this arc in the manga, but this is one of the few clear cut cases where the show is better than the manga. From the animation, VAs, and overall sound design, the studio did an amazing job.

rick santos

The anime is being co-directed by Kubo himself and he is adding a fuckton of material that he wasn't allowed to add in the manga which caused the manga to feel rushed. I've seen alot of praise for how well the anime is doing things over the manga.

Ginzo

Yeah, the anime is no doubt superior to the manga. Reading the 15-16 page manga back in the day where nothing really happened because nearly every chapter ended on a cliffhanger only for the person to pull an uno reverse the next chapter was painful. My issue with the writing is moreso how every fight follows the same formula. This is true of the anime and the manga. Somebody wins. Wait, no. The other guy was holding back the entire time. Oh wait, nevermind. The first guy is about to show you his real triumph card. Repeat until the fight is over. This Shinigami/squad is the strongest. Oh wait, it's actually this Shinigami/squad. Repeat until the end of the manga. Ichigo is a rare case of a human who worked hard to become a Shinigami. Sort of, he's actually part whatever Kubo needs him to be to overpower the new villain. And conveniently, that part of him is revealed/awakened when the plot needs it most. Bleach is the definition of deus ex machina. It is still highly entertaining, but the fact that we're enjoying it doesn't change the fact that the writing is bad.

Omariloury

Yall need to start dropping 2 episodes of bleach I see everything has a double upload except bleach and it’s irritating.
