I just can't get behind Nocturne's animation. It kind of killed it for me. We went from PURE Sakuga in castlevania to frameskipping, excessive smudge frames, and not nearly enough key frames. It gives the whole thing this jittery spastic quality that's really hard to watch. I understand that taking all of those animation shortcuts probably saved a whole lot of money, but the cracks in the veneer being so prominent were a deal breaker for me. That's just my two cents though; I totally don't expect other people to agree with me and i won't give anyone else crap if they don't share my perspective.

I'm so excited to see where things go in this season! Especially since Alucard showed up in the last one, I really hope to see what the last few hundred years of vampire hunting have done to his abilities and the crazy stuff he has learned to do. Also it's hilarious to see that being revived while you died as a hot vampire, just makes you an even hotter vampire.

I hope they enjoy it. Personally, I hate Nocturne. Even ignoring the atrocious writing and animation, I'm not a fan of the art style. I did hear around the end of season 1 that the writer was listening to feedback.
