Couple things: -In general Castlevania (and most other) lore Dracula is NOT the first vampire. Don't know if that's the case for this series specifically though. -Juste is the playable Belmont in one of many of the many handheld Castlevanias. Lydia was a character in that game with a different last name so yes safe assumption this implies that grave was his wife. -Just caught up but an observation I wanted to bring up from last week is that the biggest circumstantial difference in the night creatures I've noticed is that the Abbot is bringing recently dead souls back to their original bodies. Hector had the one anomaly we know of that was a philospher in Athens (LONG before Isaac was even born). In addition every night creature in Nocturne are people that were killed here in this same region and immediately turned for the sake of being turned. Dracula spent a year raising his army and who knows how/where those bodies were coming from.
