Cozy 4 are squad goals! Love the reaction guys! Can’t believe we are about to finish book 1 already :’(

Silvermoon

My favorite episode is here!!

Rodrigo Borges

A couple of things in case you guys missed (no spoilers): Mako correctly concludes that Amon is such a succesful hand-in-hand fighter because of his psychic bloodbending. He nudges his enemies' attacks in the wrong direction ever so slightly as to have an upper hand on them. And Micky is right too, it's a form of permanent chi blocking. In the book "The art of the animated series", which talks about the development of the series, explains this. He basically seems to use his bloodbending to lacerate chi paths from the inside and cut a persons connection to their bending permanently

Jackie

Tarlok basically wanted to be the hero of Republic City, but he was not shy to use manipulative methods to become that hero. I guess being in prison made him self-reflect a lot, and he realised how wrong he was.

3rd Eye Phreak

Little do they know that the next episode is "End Game." Lol

Andrea C.

I think when the Avatar takes away someone’s bending it’s much more in a spiritual sense and more permanent. Amon taking away bending is most likely something he learned through his blood bending, like Mikey said “one big chi block” Amon can probably sense all the pressure points in someone’s body and uses blood bending to block them.

Devin Brown

Such an awesome birthday present! 😁

Jackie

The Avatar uses energy bending to bend a person's life energy to take their bending away. Amon uses bloodbending & chi-blocking to permanently disrupt the bender's chi path for bending. One blocks spiritual / energy, the other blocks chi paths. Same same but different.

Ansley

Fuck. Yes.

Danny Jeter

I never thought about it when i first saw this episode yrs ago but Aang shouldnt have let him go? Just because you take someones bending doesnt mean he is not a criminal and capable of making trouble. He was still a crime lord

Frankie H

Yeah Mickey was right, it's like a permanent form of chi blocking. With the Avatar it's a spiritual ability. Same result, since you lose your bending either way, but different methods to get to the same result.

Anthony

Tarlok says that Yakone's gang helped him escape prison.

Anonymous

None of the brothers were evil. Tarlok wanted to save republic city from the underworld gangs that his father created and also to remove the equalists while Noatak wanted equality for all people because he believed bending is evil. They have good intentions but took it to the extremes that they became unbalanced.

Burooj Ahanger

spoilers for the normies im a bit confused. its weird then that Aang and korra were able to return the bending back if what amon does is something more physical. i mean, even if you get your bending back with spirit bending, wouldn't the chi paths still be blocked?

Burooj Ahanger

Tarrlok said that his ghost still ended up shaping him. he tried so hard to get away from his Dad's ideals that he ended up unknowingly adopting them to get away from them.

Burooj Ahanger

the avatar needs to enter the avatar state to do it. even if the light show from ATLA is just symbolism the avatar state is not.

Adam is Magic

Don't listen to want people say about book 2 being terrible form your own opinion. Also your faces to the Amon reveal was perfect I love how you weren't able to figure it out who he really was!

Joseph

Tarrlok was trying to gain control of republic city, and although he was manipulative, he really was trying his hardest to do it through legitimate means. He finally gave into illegitimacy when he broke, resorting to assault and kidnaping against Korra. Amon’s quest for power of republic city is through revolutionary means, using a cause that people could get behind and that he himself at least partially believed in. At the end of the day, these are both people with very complex and contradicting personalities who ultimately succumbed to the destiny their father pushed onto them, despite their best efforts to fight it. Their story is a testament to the effects of abuse and crime on young children and what can comes of it.

If there to be a new series for Avatar, I’d want it to go further back to the past when Kyoshi was the avatar. It’d be soo badass seeing how she handled world crises and how it’d vary from Chin the conqueror. And also it’d be neat to see how her relationship with her past Avatar Kuruk plays out and if his failure had a part to play in how Kyoshi handles her duty as the Avatar. Plus some Kyoshi Warrior backstory shit would be awesome. Also I really like avatar.

Anonymous

that would be dope. if it was a new Earth bending Avatar, I think doing something post Korra with a conflict between metal and lava benders that would be sorta civil war esque. and have him be a neutral, peaceful only natural earth bending as a message for environmental conservation and what not. how the earth isn’t meant to me augmented and torn apart, but cultivated and respected. obvi I’ve thought about this before lol

Anonymous

Aang went into the Avatar State to take Yakone's bending but not when he took Ozai's. Maybe he refined the technique over the years to incorporate the power of the Avatar State because it seemed to take a lot less effort for him to do it to Yakone than Ozai.

Dajefe70

Did they not realize the next episode is the finale? lol, either way it's a super awesome episode, it will cement their love for LOK.

Anonymous

I’m glad Mickey mentioned it, even though it’s never confirmed. That is, I always assumed Amon was doing this less for equality and more as a power trip. That’s why in his first speech he said he would save the world instead of the avatar (who he thought was the most powerful person alive). My impression at the end of season one was he just made up the equalists as the best opportunity to use and show off his powers.

Mark Nutz

'They're gonna show how he learned to take bending away, they gotta.'

Anonymous

He wants power, but he also believes in his cause too. There's no point in making Tarrlok say that Noatak truly believes it if it's a lie. It wasn't the best way to confirm it anyway. I wish this season were longer

4Tom4lepus4

Yes it kinda is. Not the worst spoiler, but kinda spoiler^^

Brian Drexler

The electircal power is generated normally, the firbenders were used as a differential load generator. It is not feasible to supply an entire city with power using lighting bending alone.

Winterson94

Bruh I’ll drop y’all some serious cash to post the next episode right now lolol I love this shit. Some people might think it’s weird to watch reaction videos, but I’ve never had anyone to share my love for ATLA and LoK with before. Became a patron during book 3 of ATLA because the cozy 4 makes me feel cozy. It’s like I’m a kid again. Even if it’s just for 20 minutes or so.

Jackson Ranger

Am I the only one that heard someone say Korrasami?

Jose

Hahaha, no I thought he said that as well

PS

Your $3.50 might be serious cash where you are from but not here.

Jose

One needs to take into consideration that the reason why Korra was not taking down those airplanes at the beginning was because she had no idea how. Benders of every nation including her were shocked when witnessing these fast-speed airships. It was then later that Korra had a strategy for taking them down.

Winterson94

You tryna come at me boss? Relax. I was half joking, but I would literally drop $50 to see the next episode right now. Can’t get enough of the cozy 4.

Anonymous

FUN FACT Yakone is voiced by Mr Krabs from spongebob lol. Can you FEEL it Mr Krabs? He is also the voice of Lex Luthor from Justice League and Long Feng from ATLA.

Jay M

is there a googledrive file of the next episode they're reacting to? lol

Jay M

PLEASE 2 episodes a week! You guys need to catch up with BlindWave and if possible, you all 8 (cozy 4 + blindwave) can DO a collab of reaction of finale episodes of Korra, I will pay $20

KuzonFire121

...and the thumbnail streak is broken, don't think I don't see you, because I do in fact see you, Normies (or whoever chose the thumbnails for the past couple Korra reactions)

Anonymous

No i agree. More like his line of thinking was “I want to use this power, and at least I’m doing something good (in his mind) while I’m at it.” I just got the impression that the power was his primary motivation. Seriously though, I could’ve had Amon around for 3 more seasons.

Jose

lol I guess they do not since none of them has said anything, but i'm pretty sure they will know by episode 12 which will be AWESOME

Jose

HAHAH funny feeling about mr. Krabs being an evil fake revolutionist.

Phonic Reassignment

yall actually didnt watch korra before hand i appreciate that like a lot, ppl who've reacted to this series pretend like they predict the exact thing but anybody with a unique mind would predict many different outcomes not the exact one so props to yall for authentically reacting to this series. in the end im one of the people by that liked korra more overal
