Thought it was awesome to see her start the season angry at Angel but then grow closer and closer until her world literally revolved around him “Angel when I look into the future… all i see is you…” The slayer life is lonely and hopeless

Oh this needed a double drop and where was Rana?! Gutted to miss her reaction to this one with how much she ships those two. Those rings became a huge thing in the 90s when this aired. So many people had them here in the UK. This ep in general caused such a buzz at the time and the wait for week 2 was awful! I get all the joking you guys make, but should reiterate that Angel is an old-fashioned gentleman. He was never setting up sex. His actual respect of her boundaries was just another reason they became such a popular couple on TV back then.

Damn I completely forgot how much Angel and Buffy kissed so intensely! This was like porn for me back in the day when I were a kid. But anyway as others have said, this is where the show really gets kicked into gear, so if you thought the show was good before, trust me you’re not ready!
