Something is really wrong. (Patreon)

Since apparently the universe loves kicking me while I'm down, this bullshit is happening with my daz installation right now. There's a few things that could be happening here. At least I think. First I haven't screwed around with adjusting my daz settings or anything like that, but now every character comes out like the images you see here. I haven't installed any new hardware or assets either.

I also tested an old render to see how it would come out (the astrid deck one) and as you can see it now has a bunch of graphical artifacts. That's not some overlay of like mspaint or something. Those are big red green and yellow squares that slowly start filling up the screen headed from her face. It's not just her either. Happens on all models.

And to make matters worse, those two screenshots with all the text in them? Those are informing me that 2 of my hard drives are on the way to failure. Guess which hard drives those are? The Daz ones of course! Fuck my life.

I'm pretty sure the artifacts mean my gpu is dying. Honestly, that's at least an easy thing to fix by replacing the gpu. And luckily I snagged a new one thats supposed to ship out by the end of the week.

If these graphical glitches are caused by something else, that means having to plumb the depths of my daz installation which...is really not gonna be fun. There's over a million files in there. Literally. I wouldn't have to sift through all of them, but I'd probably have to go through my texture files until I found out if one was causing this problem. So I'm crossing my fingers that it's just the gpu so I can swap it out and continue with minimal delay.

As for the hard drives. Well, that sucks. I have to backup onto a storage drive and replace them and probably reinstall a fresh version of daz.

I know you guys are sick of my constant delays and excuses and I'm really truly sorry. I'm gonna try to get this shit fixed as soon as I can. It really has been one hell of a year.
