Alien girls! I went more overboard with this series than with any others I’ve done so far (though that could change) so I have a ton of images to share. Lots more to come in the “bonus” set as well. I hope you guys enjoy!
“Klaxons blared all around her and she could hear the hiss of escaping air somewhere down the corridors. She knew the hull had been breached. As she fumbled with the controls, trying to contain the damage and save a portion of the ship, she heard a high pitched keening sound, initially barely perceptible, but then filling the room around her. The sound caused her body to go cold, momentarily weakening her knees. She knew what it was…what it meant.
Nanites.
The ship had released the nanites. The damage must be worse than she realized. The ship had initiated its breach protocol. She shuddered at the thought, as the keening continued to pulse around her in the tiny room. Already she knew they would be at work, changing, editing, splicing and calculating. The final failsafe to ensure mission success were those tiny nanites, trillions of them, working hard to prevent her death…at any cost.
In the event of a severe breach and the loss of life support systems, the nanites used the combined data of all onboard biological samples to determine the necessary adaptations for the environment to survive in the remaining at sphere as well as on nearby planetary bodies. Then…they…made necessary modifications of her DNA.
She felt the changes begin, a tightening across her body, shifting internals, immediate changes in her skin, her bone structure, her lungs… They would make her into an amalgamation of human characteristics and those of the dominant sentient species on the nearest planets. She couldn’t possibly know the form her body would take, but she knew the pathway she would have to pass through to get there.
She braced herself, steeling her mind and struggling to preserve something of herself, to lock away a portion of her mind and personality, to avoid giving everything of herself. The nanites keened around her, and she gave herself to their work…”
